    any one use a fn a3g?

    Re: any one use a fn a3g? I have had an SPR a1 since 03 and it seems to get more accurate everytime I shoot it. I did have it bedded and had a CDI bottom metal fitted. It is a great rifle. Now just about all my rifles have that style action with a couple more in reserve.

    Re: long action 308? I bet your pre 64 .308 has a short stroke kit in it that makes it pretty close to a 700 short action in actual stroke length. Probably a bit longer. You can do a simple conversion to make the action accept 3006 length cartridges. Gotta love them Winchesters!!
