Gunsmithing AAC flash hider tool
Anybody got the AAC flash hider tool that I can borrow? Pulling the Blackout flash hider off my AAC-SD and I don't have a wrench narrow enough to fit between the toothed section and the washer/spacer that's on there. Remington 700 5R .308 milspec HORRIBLE ACCURACY!!!!!
I don't have a 5R, but I had a Millet TRS on my R700 SPS AAC-SD. It shot "ok", but still didn't have a lot of rounds through it. Switching to Froglube
Isn't the whole point of Froglube that you coat the metal so that it penetrates into the pores so that you need a lot (if any) lube when in use? The ease of cleanup is a huge benefit, but I don't think it was the intent of the product. That being said, I've only treated my Glock with it so...- fubar1217

Hey all, Just wanted to post up my results from hitting the range on Saturday to zero my recently worked up Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD. Dropped it into a Manners T4A mini-chassis stock and topped it with the Bushy ERS. Sitting on an Atlas v7 bipod. I zero'd using American Eagle M1A...- fubar1217

AI mags wont sit in my Badger Ordinance box magazine
Just throwing this in for other folks that may have an issue: I had trouble seating mags into a Manners T4A with the mini-chassis and found that when I installed the action, it was twisted off center the tiniest bit. Wierd thing happened at the range Saturday
Never been to Calverton, but Brookhaven is the same. I couldn't sit at the next empty bench cause the guy next to me was a lefty so I had to skip a bench! It's a circus at Brookhaven too....last time I was there, the RO had to yell at some dude over the PA for at least 5 minutes to step away...- fubar1217

Manners EH1 with quick results in the field
Nice takedown. Any difference after cutting the barrel down? I have a Rem 700 Tactical SSD that I moved into a Manners T4A stock and topped with a Bushnell ERS so very close to your setup. Haven't dialed it in yet, but hoping to get groupings like yours.- fubar1217
