    16" 1-7" or 1-8" match grade barrel I could not get Barnes 70gr TSX's to stabilize from a 1-9". The bullet is all copper which=less dense than lead which=longer length of bullet which=4' key hole 10 shot groups at 100 yards which=:<(.

    I would do a 16" PSS contour custom barrel. I am pretty sure all things being equal a custom barrel will shoot faster. Edit:My AAC shoots about 2" @ 100 yards.

    If everything locked up like it should it sounds like the bore of the mount and bore of the barrel are out of concentricity with one another. That's just my opinion.

    I wouldn't say fire forming is the end of the world. I prefer not having two loads and sets of data just to reach my end game. maybe on a hunting rifle it would be ok.

    6CM. -Screw fire forming. -Brass availability. -30deg. shoulder. -105 Hybrids @ 3150fps. -6.2 mils/1k @ 2000da. -Easy to load for. -Feeds from a mag. It doesn't need any special treatment. Load and shoot.

    I own an LMT 16" CL, I've shot a GAP10 for about 500 rounds, and handled a JP. I like the way the receiver is cut around the bolt release and mag release on the LMT. It is really solid but it shoots like dick. I wish you could buy the parts from LMT and build your own. I have a .260 rock...

    I know it's not in your selection but a tuned flat back Remington is extremely tough to beat. It doesn't come with a fancy price tag but they brake clean. XMarks blow.
