    Waltz Die

Didn’t see it on his website but does it work with a Lee press?

    New Sig CROSS

I would like to handle it but I still think a carbon handguard like Lancer or faxon would be awesome in a longer handguard with a 16” barrel barely past the end. Would save weight, make it quieter and not get hot or cold like aluminum.

    Tikka T1X

Looks nice but do they offer a longer forearm?

    17HMR Pistol Info

I know Kimber isn’t the top of the line brand but they used to make a 17hm2 (aka 17 Mach 2 which is a 22lr necked down to 17) 1911. Always wanted one. Out to about 125 yards my 17m2 rifles hang with my 17hmr guns. Maybe look for one of those. Ammo you can find when they have runs but...

    Ruger Precision Rimfire

Just a side note. Took a youth group shooting yesterday. By far the rifle the youth wanted to shoot the most was the RPRr. The boys thought it looked cool and the biggest bonus was that I could adjust the stock to get all of them comfortable behind it. They didn’t care it wasn’t the most...

    New CZ 600

This really sucks. Hell even TC figured out how to do a switch barrel centerfire. Too bad it had that god awful stock and it never took odd.

    New CZ 600

Why did they do this? Swappable barrels was a key selling point for me.

    New Sig CROSS

I’m surprised no one has come out with a carbon fiber handguard to lighten things up, keep it quieter and they aren’t nearly as cold in the winter.

The .22 LR alternative, the .17 Mach 2?

I still have a 17m2 and will probably end up with a Mach 2 barrel for the 457. It’s really too bad it didn’t take off better. The Mach 2 does so much out to about 125 yards and is much easier for kids to shoot well at multiple ranges. It also makes target explode similar to the HMR. Price...

    Tikka T3 Thread

Sexy. How long of a barrel? Suppressed as well?

    Terminus Actions

Very nice. What does it weight like that?

Bolt guns with a 60 degree throw or less.

Touché …… but how smooth will it be? If it’s clunky or difficult to cycle slow (rumor about savage is it’s rough and heavy) then might as well stay with tried and true actions. It’s been a while but my buddy had a Weatherby mark V action (~55-60* action I think) and the lift wasn’t too...

Bolt guns with a 60 degree throw or less.

I’m a low bolt throw lover and this thread is cool to read through. Tikka has been for me the best throw to bolt lift combo. I’m waiting to try one of the new straight pull guns (beretta, or the black collar MBA) to see how they compare.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Thanks for the write up. Super sexy. Hope it shoots like it looks.

    Turbo V3

Actually I didn’t look at your user name at all. Even if I would have, I doubt I would have cared to draw the correlation. Feel free to enlighten me about your action. There isn’t a whole lot of info on this board about it. Which is what the OP was asking.

    Turbo V3

The bulk of the market on this board. When members here on the hide are spending big money for accurate 22’s they typically gravitate towards vudoo, annschutz, some RimX and a few others (ultimatum) but it would be tough to find a lot of info on this site.

MDT introduces the HNT26! A 26 Ounce Carbon Fiber Hunting Chassis.

Any chance of a different handguard lengths coming out down the line?

Black collar arms straight pull bolt gun?

Went and looked at their website and they have a photo (see below) with an ar10 bolt and a better photo of their “bolt carrier”?

    Turbo V3

Isn’t the V3 a bench rest action? I think on this board, when you get to that level, vudoo and anschutz have it sewn up.

Looking for suggestion on a light weight minimal chassis

The Christiansen Arms MPR chassis looks good for a Remington 700 foot print https://christensenarms.com/blog/new-the-modern-precision-rifle-chassis/ Looks like it’s quite a bit heavier than the MDT. But the MPR with the barreled action is pretty lightweight
