    Interesting. If Barrett's barrels last longer.. I'd imagine its because they use cold hammer forged chrome moly steel barrels(IIRC). AI uses Bartlein cut rifled stainless steel barrels.

    Have to agree. A .375 Cheytac(or a .50 BMG) rifle is about the upper limit of practicality IMO... anything more specialized than that is a bit of a waste. Theres gotta be a good reason SOCOM went with .308/.300/.338 on the ASR. Would've liked to see them go with the AI or Sako M10 in all...
