    Is the headspacing on the IBI barrel set from factory or does it come with shims like the Lilja barrels? Rebarreling a 22lr seems a lot less intuitive than a centerfire from what little reading I've done.

    If it's red, it'll be the 25lb. The 16 and 19 are just the raw steel colour, with the 19 being a touch longer than the 16. It makes a very noticeable difference with the bolt lift. Edit: Link to the differences on ARC's website

    Give ESS Suppressors a look. They use super thin frames specifically for wearing with over ear pro. It made a big difference when I was running the Leights without gel pads.

    Does anyone else here have issues with the Anarchy Outdoors 10 round mag extensions? Both of my mags keep jamming up when loaded past 10 rounds. I still leave them installed just for ease to hold onto for reloads, but would be cool to get them working properly.

    Got out to test some SK Match, Long Range Match, Lapua Center-X and Midas +. The Long Range ended up being the obvious winner, with Midas + as the runner up. The Match was a mess and the Center-X was similar to my SK standard results.

    Been running various M10s for the last two years or so. Haven't had any notable issues between one day matches or bouncing around in the back of a truck. Ease of use has made them my go-to rings.

    Frank mentioned that he's been seeing Bergaras pop up with the issue recently as well. I've personally never had a base on one of my own rifles loosen off, not on the two Savages I've at one point owned and certainly not on my Tikkas with the pinned lugs or my two Nucleus actions.

    I do believe Frank has mentioned out of spec screw holes at one point or another as well, either on here or one of his podcasts. Others in here have mentioned bases coming loose even with loctite, like the quote you provided.

    I'm almost certain gen 1s didn't have a zero stop. That alone would push me to a gen 2.

    In fact, it's common enough that Tikka streamlined their manufacturing by using the same long action for all their rifles. Only change is the bottom metal for the various magazines and bolt stop.

    The Savage 110 Elite was specifically made for competition and come in at ~$2500 CAD up here. That price point should not reflect an action that can basically be expected to have issues out of the box. It is insane to think otherwise. A $500 beater Savage Axis being rough around the corners...
