Re: Krg whiskey III folder or fixed?
Fixed= Pelican 1750
Folder=Pelican 1720
It's handy to instantly cut 12" off the OAL of a rifle sometimes. Until I have to downsize to a smaller vehicle I won't regret the fixed stock.
Re: Let's see those whiskey three chassis
Figured I should chime in since I feel pretty strongly about how great these are.
Justin, any updates on the side-forearm flush cup adapters?
Re: BHTC SNIPER TEAM CHALLENGE 10/6/12, LEWISTOWN PA
Steve, I could swing carbine, but will have kind of a wonky setup on short notice since I'm geared more toward precision, but would rather get my hat in the ring any way possible.
Re: 168gr SMK at 1000 yards
I spotted for a guy at a PR1 type class, he was shooting 168 FGM out of a 22" rifle and vapor trail disappeared along with accuracy between 700-800 yards.
I gave him 5 of my 175 SMK handloads and he was dead on to 800+ with visible vapor trails.
That was the day...
Re: Copper Removal, No More?
Rifle cleaning can become more superstition than science.
I would think a piece of copper accelerating from 0-2700+fps in less than 2 feet would be more destructive than a brass brush...
Never expect a naked bore to do the same thing as one with some use...
Re: Changing the roles of some rifles..
I'm familiar with doing the scope/rifle/purpose shuffle.
Its nice to have the flexibility as you figure what works best. Even nicer with such quality components.
Good luck with the lineup.
Re: My, "I hate chassis" Rant
Not inferred, I only mentioned since years ago seeing AICS for sale, some were milled to take aftermarket, others not. I was in need of the former.
This is 'years ago' when AI was the only CS in town.
Re: New Alpha Mags
I'm a few hours short of a one month wait on a product that was in stock at purchase.
I actually got Chris on the phone (2 weeks ago), and was not aware it was such a small outfit. I'll let the money sit with them since I respect the time and energy that goes into making...
