    Suppressors Seeking basic suppressor advice....

    My choice would be a TBAC Ultra 7 using the CB brake mounting. I have this can and use it on several different rifles from .223 to 300 WM. Light weight, great warranty and solid engineering.

    You should be able to have local Law Enforcement fingerprint you on a FD-248 for a small fee. Usually who ever does the CCW background checks for your area. Then you'll need to send your Form 4, prints and picture together.

    Both rifles are 24 inches. The SPR is 1-12 and the 10PD is 1-10.

    My go to is 175 SMK, 43.5 IMR 4064, 64-67 7.62x51 LC NM brass. Yields 2733 fps and .5 MOA out of both rifles (FN SPR and Savage 10PD). The brass has thicker bases than commercial .308 or newer M80 brass.

    I imagine that elevation and dry, thin air have something to do with it. The other part is reloading data, at least from manuals, are based on test barrels and lab conditions that most of us will never see.
