    I've got the "Bob Sled" AICS 223 single shot magazine for my Tikka 223 (in a MDT chassis). It will single load just fine if I move the bolt forward slowly.

    Budget setup: Ruger Precision VS. Howa

    Between those 2 I'd go with the Howa. I've handled a Howa 1500 varmint barreled action in a MDT Chassis and was pretty impressed. I'm not a Ruger fan, and I've read enough bad about their RPR to keep me away.

    Good deal! That's the same gas block I went with since the JP didn't fit under my ZEV handguard.

    I'm thinking about putting a B14r barreled action into a spare MDT XRS chassis I have. Anyone have any issues with mag fitment or anything? I haven't bought a barreled action yet, just trying to figure out if there are any issues I should expect.

    Thermal dissipator fit under non JP handguards

    I put together my 6.5 Creedmoor gas gun with a Zev receiver set and Zev handguard, with the JP 6.5 barrel. The thermal disappator wouldn't fit, so I didn't use it. Clamp on JP gas block didn't fit either.

    Tikka HB 223 and ELDMs

    I've had good luck with my 24" Tikka Varmint barrel 223 and the 80gr ELDM. Been using N140 with it. Never tried the 88gr though.

    New to AK47s and want to learn

    I'd suggest you buy a WBP from Atlantic. They are awesome to deal with. I have a couple of Romanian AKs. They are cool, but an AR is easier to work on, lighter, smoother, and more ergonomic.

    Want to build (or send to have built) a MDT ESS. I have no idea where to start. Help me please

    If it were me, I'd probably buy a barreled action from Patriot Valley Arms and then order the MDT ESS from MDT and then buy the trigger of your choice. Should turn out well and be under budget. In my case, I put a couple of Tikka barreled actions in MDT ACC chassis and am very happy with them.

    That setup us pretty similar to mine. You're going to have so little recoil with that setup. To give you an idea of my setup: 22" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel with +2" gas system Adjustable gas block Area419 muzzle brake JP low mass bolt carrier JP SCS

    SP10 builder kit with +3 gas

    With a 6mm Creedmoor, it will shoot smoother than a 6.5 Creedmoor, which is already pretty smooth. But there is more that affects recoil than gas system length. Do you plan to use a muzzle brake or a suppressor, or just a bare muzzle? Standard weight bolt carrier or lightweight bolt carrier...

    No, but I have a 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22" and a +2" gas system. Works great. What do you need a +3 for that a +2 won't do?

    Most accurate powder for .308 / 147 gr FMJ / 168 gr. Match

    I'd just shoot 147gr ball ammo in a FAL and not have high expectations. I'd find a ball powder like TAC or BLC2 that meters well and play with it a little. If I found a loaf thar shot similar or even a little better than LC M80 then I'd just stick with it.
