    Re: User Tips for Giraud Trimmer Yep, the lock ring mod works great, well worth the $4 the things cost. I have the meplat trimming head and holders as well, and it does a great job. I do this before pointing, and it is way easier than trimming by hand.

    Re: Which spotting scope for competition? I have a new Kowa 77mm and it's great. I did look through a buddies Zeiss 85mm scope, and it was really clear as well, and the eye relief was better than my Kowa, but the eye relief alone did not justify the 1k extra for me.
