    Re: 2 degree recoil lug taper is there any benifit I think it is a front to back taper, not a top to bottom taper. From what I've heard this acts as a wedge and forces them (stock bedding and lug) together during recoil. This would allow for even less movement than square lugs I believe.

    Re: Turret Check I don't think he is trying to have it as a zero stop, he is now able to visually see a "Hey, scope not at zero" type reminder. With zero stop, you still need to check that you have come back down to zero. This allows quick glance. Nice job.
