Suppressors Anti seize for muzzle devices

I never had problems of any kind with silicone grease so I am going back to it. Don't know why I thot I needed to "fix" anything.

    Suppressors should i buy it

Just what the Banish 30 was made for. Use it in its 7" configuration for hunting (9 oz.), then when you want maximum sound suppression and recoil reduction for targets, screw the 2" extension holding 2 more baffles on (13 oz.). Top quality, great company.

Suppressors Suppressor advice needed for a first time buyer

If someone has multiple cans and a lot of money, sure, buy a 6.5 can. For the other 99.8% of can purchasers, they are a stupid investment. 2-4 decibels is not worth worrying about. Even with a 6.5 suppressor you are still not going to be able to shoot a match without some kind of ear pro, and...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

Everyone's rifle shoots "half-minute" until they try to put 20 in a row into the X-ring at 600 yards on a dead-calm day. ;)

Suppressors Suppressor advice needed for a first time buyer

Well, I knew someone would, sooner or later, but I can't imagine they sell many. My 30-cal suppressors work too well on 6.5, and give me the option of shooting 7mm, in addition to 30-cal. I would call them a dumb investment.

Suppressors Suppressor advice needed for a first time buyer

I will show you what I shot today -- a Banish 30 on a Rem 700 .204. It is 100% titanium (alloy -- no one uses pure titanium), and you can run it either in a 7" configuration for hunting or a 9" configuration for sustained (usually bench) shooting. No other suppressor offers that "module"...

    Suppressors Suppressor blew up

You engineers, they never teach you to read. I did not "suppose" anything. I just pointed out that there were more possible explanations than simply "engraving stress-points.". OP's friend says no way on the solvent, but that still leaves a possible obstruction in the can. I point this out...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

This is a joke, right? I have seen imperfections in a crown, well away from the bore, that were so small you could hardly even detect them with the naked eye, and yet they made accuracy impossible. A quick re-crowning and voila! Accurate rifle again. And you want to claim there is "no...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

Yes, "tiny groups" are what I'm about, whether I'm shooting at 100 yards or 1,000. Sorry, I am kind enough to share what I know about achieving small groups, but I'm not going to go to the trouble of proving it to skeptics.

    Suppressors Suppressor blew up

If you take a perfectly good, heavy-walled can and over-pressurize it until the wall fails, it will fail at the engraving every time, because that spot is weaker than the surrounding material. It does not mean there was anything wrong with the can or its engraving, that is just how...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

Those are certainly legitimate concerns but I think whoever designed the Varminter/Banish (Mack Bro's, I'm guessing) seems to have taken them all into consideration and figured out a way to prevent them. Of course, nothing is "idiot-proof" so I'm sure someone could create a problem by failing...

I don't think you will know the condition of the baffles until they are removed.

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

Well, not if what you're after is PURE BS, I'll certainly give you that. ;) Look, unlike the people posting here who have a vested interest in selling TBAC, I have no affiliation with Silencer Central or Mack Brothers (and yes, Mack Brothers makes the Banish suppressors for SC). I'm not an SC...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

The carbon builds up on every part of the baffle, including the rim of hole. Would you like a photo? ;) When you have a target showing at least three 5-shot groups, all under .4 MOA (at any range you care to shoot at) shot back-to-back with a dirty can, by all means post it. You'll be lucky...

    Suppressors Suppressor blew up

Any metal is weaker where its thickness is reduced, as by engraving. They allow for that by keeping the engraving shallow and the wall-thickness up. A 5 year old YMH is not going to be shy of wall-thickness. They are nothing if not stout. I also think it would probably have blown up a long...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

You're right, until you start shooting a seriously accurate rifle. Because "every bullet has to go somewhere" you can get an occasional half-minute, 3-shot group with a dirty suppressor, but I cannot get consistently great groups with one (meaning multiple 5-shot groups on the same page). I...

    Suppressors Thunder Beast vs?

After recently getting my second Banish, my suggestion is to just buy one of them if you want a user-serviceable suppressor. I do, because I think clean cans are more accurate. That may not matter if you are happy with "under MoA" or even half-MoA, but I want much better than that, and I get...

    Suppressors Silencer Central

I have the Varminter (Banish) 223 and a Banish 30. I see no reason to look at any other brand unless I wanted something they do not make, which is unlikely. The 30 took less than 5 months from the time I called with the order until they had mailed it. Very high quality stuff.

    Suppressors Rauch Precision suppressor covers

I like this one for $45. I got the 9" and it works great on both my 7" and 9" suppressors. https://www.silencercentral.com/products/silencer-wrap/
