Suppressors Anti seize for muzzle devices

I probably did use too much, but then I don't want to have a problem I cannot fix at the range any time I use a bit too much. Wheel-bearing grease seems to work just as well, and if I use too much it easily wipes off the crown, instead of getting baked on. You can't tell much from this photo...

Suppressors Anti seize for muzzle devices

I think it is a good idea with direct-thread to have some kind of lubricant. I always want something on just about any threads I expect to put to use repeatedly, but even more of a concern is tightening the suppressor up to the shoulder dry hundreds of times. I am now using wheel-bearing...

Suppressors Anti seize for muzzle devices

I had always just put a little oil or silicone grease on my threads, checked suppressor tightness every 50 rounds or so, and never had a problem getting my DT suppressor off. But I read how great AS is so I got some PermaTex 1,600-degree AS (so, "silver," I guess) and tried it yesterday on my...

Rifle Scopes Stepping up to a higher level in scope

For $1,500 it is pretty easy to find a used NF NXS 5.5-22x50. They made several MOA reticles for them, and you would probably love any of them. If you buy from people who have been on a forum for years you will probably be okay. A lot of guys are moving to FFP and/or mils and selling their...

    Rifle Scopes 35mm scope level?

I know, but I've had yours and several other brands and the Flat-Ops is worth the extra money to me. In addition to the adjustability, with the flip-out I can have the level located where, when I am looking through my scope with my right eye, I can easily glance up with my left eye and check...

Rifle Scopes first time mounting a scope and I've got problems

I would have gotten two Burris Signature rings. I am almost certain the 1.5" would allow the objective of your Razor to clear the picatinny, but if not worst case would be you would have to buy a pic-to-pic base from EGW or similar.

    Rifle Scopes 35mm scope level?

Yes, the flip-out feature is VERY nice -- makes it easy to see the bubble with my left eye while my right eye is lined up behind the scope, even with the level mounted right behind the objective lens, which is much better than in back where it interferes with zooming. Then it lies down when you...

Rifle Scopes Alternative to Nightforce NXS??

Speaking of making a "quick shot" -- if your stop-nut is GNT there is no faster zooming system than the NXS's and ATACR's, where you don't have to find the ring or lever, you just grab and ocular and twist. That appears to be why NF has kept it. As for flip-up caps and quick shots, I can strip...

Rifle Scopes Alternative to Nightforce NXS??

Thanks. That's the only NXS I have never owned.

Rifle Scopes Alternative to Nightforce NXS??

On the NF Competition the ocular stays fixed. On the NXS and ATACR (at least, the ones I have) the ocular turns with the power ring. I don't find it a problem so long as you make sure the stop-nut is tight against ocular. It also helps if you grab the power ring (or throw-lever) and not the...

    NightForce NXS 5.5-22x50 .250 moa NPR1

I just bought one, or I would buy this one. Great scopes. The NP-R reticle is as fine as the MoAR-T, just lacks the numbers (who needs them?). Incredible deals for those who know. Sorry you have to sell it!

I'll take it. I have been looking for that exact scope for some time. Love those LS turrets.

WTB: NightForce 5.5-22x56mm NXS with the MOAR-T reticle or NPR1/ NPR2 Reticle.

What was wrong with mrogers' scope, rings and level for $1300?

WTB: NightForce 5.5-22x56mm NXS with the MOAR-T reticle or NPR1/ NPR2 Reticle.

ICBW but I'm guessing 338LM-Sniper knows what he wants. There is a big difference between the MOAR and the MOART reticles. ATACR's have ED glass which gives you a prettier picture (color, mainly) but the glass in the NXS is so stinking good I'm not sure that really matters. The NXS has better...

    Nightforce Atacr 5-25x56mm Scope C553

Why is handling it like an auction "poor etiquette?" Why make people waste their time sending PMs with offers lower than the seller has already turned down?

    Nightforce Atacr 5-25x56mm Scope C553

Okay, $1,650 then. These are great scopes, I just prefer the MOAR-T (C-555). As I recall the C-553 is the MOAR. Still a great scope and the MOAR is preferred by many. Somebody beat my $1,650 and let's get this baby to a new home.
