Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Right on! I just ordered all the parts for a new upper. Got the 1-8 twist Faxon barrel last week. I'll shoot both uppers side-by-side. Maybe we can visually see a difference,

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

So not sure if they are stable. Here are six shots at 105 yards. I was playing with holdovers so the results are not about accuracy. The three closest to the tape were using the same hold once I got close:

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Forgot to mention that they don't as of yet offer just the bullets for reloading. Hoping that will change soon!

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Doesn't 300 BLK use a .308 diameter bullet? If so be careful as these are probably .310 or .311 diameter. You can always run them through a bullet sizing die to get them down to .308 if need be. Please let us know how they sound suppressed. Just confirmed it will be Thursday when I'm able...

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Nothing happened after 75 yards. Had a very limited amount of time to run out and test yesterday. Heading out to an actual range tomorrow where I can test out to 200. Loading only 1 round in the mag at a time, I had 1 out of 5 hold back the bolt. So adding suppressor back pressure should...

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Well I answered my own question today, but only out to 75 yards. No problem with the 1-9.5 twist at that distance. Surprisingly accurate round.

    BIDENS STABILIZER BAN

It actually saddens me beyond words this country's state of affairs. I'm watching it get flushed down the toilet almost real time, and yes to some degree venting here. Then there are morons like you among us on top of everything else!

Glad I could help you understand.

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Will these subsonic 255gr projectiles stabilize in 1-9.5 twist, 16" barrel out to say 200 yards?

    BIDENS STABILIZER BAN

And you quoted me why? Please spare me your cheerleading and pretty pictures. Until Republicans in Congress stop abdicating their responsibilities, throw people in jail and proactively defend the constitution, this slow burning of our rights will continue. Thirty years to chip away at the...

    IMI BRass

Or I can put the IMI brass through the FN meat grinder and see how it holds up?

    IMI BRass

Keeping loads way on the low end! Only shooting 147gr projos using 42.0 gr of H335 and now 43.0 gr of TAC. It took a while to break the FN in with the new receiver and all new springs. Had to use H335 initially to get the bolt to lock back. Faster powder than I really wanted, but it solved...

    IMI BRass

Still early on in this evaluation. New GGG and Venezuelan stretches 17 to 18 thou on the first fire without extraction enabled. There is some springback involved due to the thickness of the military brass. I got no springback with the LC as I'm assuming it is way too thin for this chamber...

    IMI BRass

I have a few pieces of once-fired IMI 308 brass out in the shop that I could measure for you, but it may no be applicable since its been fired once. I would have to check to see if there is a date on it. I'm in the process of evaluating various types brass for reloading in my FN FAL. This...

    BIDENS STABILIZER BAN

The is no such thing as Justice, let alone equal justice under the law. They (both parties) trample over the Constitution every day. And when has the Republican Party when they had majorities done anything about this or any other egregious laws (death tax, emanate domain, and many others)...

Does anyone make a Match Trigger for the Barrett M82A1 ?

There was a company on the east coast that made one years ago: http://www.anzioironworks.com/BARRETT-M82-UPGRADES.htm I would just send to back to Barrett and have them do a custom trigger job - if they are still open to doing that.

    .224 Valkyrie

I use SRM primers in my Vlak and 6.5 grendel AR's exclusively. Mainly because I use ball powders like CFE223, TAC and BLC-2 to achieve max velocities. That said, nothing wrong with SR primers with stick powders if accuracy is your primary goal.

Barrett M82A1 Question about Picatinny Rail. Is there Cant in the Top Scope Rail?

You know something is wrong when your rear ocular barley clears! My setup is capable of -43 MOA (27-70). Perfect for shooting down Chinese "weather" balloons.

Barrett M82A1 Question about Picatinny Rail. Is there Cant in the Top Scope Rail?

I actually did that when I was first messing with my ERA-TAC adjustable mount lol. Caught it on my own before anyone could laugh at me.
