    Rifle case question

I have a pelican case that I rarely use. Heavy and bulky, but it has its place. Most of the time I use a Savior from Amazon. It's a great bag, not just for the price. I have other bags and cases that cost me 2 and 3 times the Savior, it's a nice bag period.

Rifle Scopes Athlon Ares ETR turrets

My elevation and windage turrets feel the same. This is not the normal response you hear from Athlon, sounds like you got it handled with the second call though.

How would you set up a rig, cheap?

Tikka or Rem700 in a KRG Bravo. Tikka is another with a nicer trigger if you don't plan on upgrading anything. The 700 is more upgradeable.

    Atlas 5H

I think you have to weight stability vs mobility with a 5H. I've tried it on a 338 and it was great, but I didn't like it on my 6.5, prefer the cal.

    KRG W chassis

I love mine, however, you might want to check what mods are necessary to clear your trigger hanger on a 737 action.

Starting out and a little confused about measure and scales

I've been using lee powder dippers and a beam scale on 338LM for a couple years now. I usually only load between 20 and 50 at a time so not a big deal. I actually enjoy reloading and it doesn't bother me to spend the extra time.

Used Remington rifles sold as new at Bass Pro?

It could be new even if a scope was mounted. I'm not sure if Remington test fires rifles, but I know Cabela's and Bass pro will often mount optics and accessories to rifles and try to sell them as a package. They did it to a brand new MRAD at the Cabela's by me. I couldn't believe it. They...

Slings, vtac vs Vickers slings any thoughts

Slings, vtac vs Vickers slings any thoughts

I have the vtac, Vickers and ferro. I like the vtac best, but I've used several of them for years and I'm very familiar. I just got the ferro last year and have used it very little, it's operation is different from the vtac and I'm having problems getting acclimated to it. I think if I had...

    Liberty Gun Safes?

Like someone said earlier, it's a RSC. Knowing it's limitations is helpful. My biggest thing is I have a safe place to put my firearms when I got a house full of children and their friends running around doing the things that kids do. I have some minimal fire protection as an added bonus...

    Liberty Gun Safes?

I've been wanting to reconfigure the inside of my safe for a while. I agree the way they come configured is terrible. I did remove a row from each side of my "48 gun" safe. It helped, but it's not ideal. When I get the time blah, blah, blah... Who am I kidding, I barely have time to shoot...
