K-Bars What Knife is in your pocket right now?

CRKT M16-02Z, ProTac 2L-X, S&W Shield 9mm are the three things I can't leave the house without. Oddly enough I feel just as naked without any of the 3...

I paid 350 for my RX-2800 and it has absolutely no problem with animals at 1000.

    Bipod Options

I like both the Atlas Cal and the Harris notched leg for their deferences. I gave up on looking for a do-all bipod, it doesn't exist. Tall and short Atlas and Harris. Also, a Harris requires a pod lock.

    PCC; Scorpion or Stribog?

Interesting. Every review I've read raves about their performance suppressed. It's that main reason I chose the Scorpion over the MPX.

Range Report Range results! My first precision rifle and hand loads

I did 2 300 yard ladders last weekend and got similar results. Both ended with my last 2 shots much lower than the rest of the group.

Rifle Scopes Any logic in having the same scope on multiple rifles?

I put them on hunting rifles that I lend to people/kids I take hunting. They don't need to be adjusted for what I do with them, they just need to hold zero.

Best barrel length for suppressed AR-10?

16" but only because shorter requires another damn stamp. I'm also looking for a 16" 308 as a woods/occasional hunting riffle, but undecided about buying and getting it over with, or doing a build. A nice Criterion barrel would make a handy as well as accurate rifle.

    Custom Savage Build

Yes and yes. But reliably? I've had a bit of time behind 6 different Savage rifles to include 2 different 338LMs that took CIP mags. They were all fine shooting rifles, but every one of them had feeding and or extraction problems at some point. That being said, I still have one of them and...

Rifle Scopes Any logic in having the same scope on multiple rifles?

I'm pretty much here. I'll get something new and the redistribute scopes to match the rifles I have. I even have some MIL and some MOA and have not had problems between them.

KRG Whiskey 3-Lefty Gen 6 Stock & Triggertech Trigger

The only issues with triggers I've heard of would be trigger hanger interference on custom actions that use them. I've mounted the bipod on a stud on the forend and now I have it mounted on a spigot and have an ARCA rail on the forend for my tripod. You can also get an ARCA spigot or mlock...

    Folder vs non folder options

I've had both, found myself using the folder in the begining and then not so much after a while. The extra weight on the Whiskey 3 is what stopped me from getting another one. If my next W3 is a folder the only reason will be "because I already have the fixed version"

Muzzle break and POI shift or groups opening up ...

Never had a POI shift or groups open up due to a muzzle device that was not a suppressor. Even then I've only had POI shift suppressed, never had group open up. Even the Magnetospeed only had a marginal POI shift with no "apparent" change in group size.
