Sig Sauer SSG 3000 full write up and myths clarified.

Thanks for taking the time to get that information. I've heard other people try to talk to Sig only to meet frustration. No apology necessary. I'm happy that you compiled this information.

When people say that it has been mechanically improved are they referring to the parallax adjustment?

Sig Sauer SSG 3000 full write up and myths clarified.

Thank you for the write up, but the asterisks make it a little difficult to read. Also, how did you determine that the action was made in Germany?

American Rifle's M5 Bolt Action, The Mausingfield

I’ve been wondering for a while how a Remington style trigger affects a Mauser style bolt. I believe the Mauser trigger sear is 90*, and the Remington trigger sear is 45*. In benchrest literature, I’ve read that a Remington sear pushes upwards on the back of the bolt. Is that even a concern...

Does such a factory rifle exist?

The first thing that comes to mind is the Tikka T3 Sporter. It comes in 20" or 24" barrel lengths. It has a bolt action, threaded muzzle, detachable mag, and has a TRG style laminated stock with a cheek riser.

New Integral Rail Action From Stiller PICS

I kept telling myself that if I were to get a custom rifle that I would buy a Borden Rimrock SSR. This Stiller action speaks to me on so many levels.

    Hart barrels ???

When I was looking through online estate auctions for a 22lr match rifle, I noticed that a lot of vintage rifles had been re-barreled with Hart barrels. At one point in time they looked to be quite popular.

LMT MWS trade for OBR a good idea?

I've owned the 16" MWS, and the 16" OBR. Both are great rifles. I think the MWS bolt is a superior design. The captured firing pin retaining pin on the MWS is much easier to work with. Cleaning the MWS bolt is much easier. The double ejectors are also really nice, unless you are trying to...

Opinions on best billet lower with most features etc

I'm right-handed, but I like having ambidextrous controls. I use my thumb to set a rifle on fire, and I use my index finger to put it back on safe. I'm not sure what Tipper's problem is? Billet isn't for everybody, but I like having more options than less.

    Anyone running KAC Micros?

I have owned the KAC micro front, and 200-600m micro rear iron sights. I love them. Everything is adjustable without special tools, and they are also very precise.

New AI AX and AT pics with rifle Weights!

It might have been a weird question. I've been thinking about getting a centerfire rifle, and I couldn't decide between a custom rifle, and a AI rifle. The AI does everything I want except for its weight. People have talked about there being discounts on the discontinued AE. If I could get...

American Rifle's M5 Bolt Action, The Mausingfield

I don't think a small ejection port is an issue. The Bighorn Arms TL2 is the same way, and people see that as feature because it increases the stiffness of the action for heavier barrel weights.

American Rifle's M5 Bolt Action, The Mausingfield

How did I not know that American Rifle Company was in Washington? I'm happy to see good stuff being made in this state. I was thinking about getting my first center fire bolt action. I was thinking about the FN SPR/TSR/PBR, but decided against it because it limited my stock choices. The...
