    Accuracy International AT-X

    Use a T15 torx driver bit to remove the low rail. You'll have to tap it down into the screws, but it seems to be the best way to do it without stripping them. I may have used a little heat, but can't remember at this point. Blue loctite for the reinstall.

    MK 12 Picture & Discussion Thread

    Is anyone here using a BRT restricted gas tube on their MK12? I have a to-spec CLE Douglass barrel that runs like a top, but is obviously gassy due to the Ops supressor design. I have no intention of running the rifle without a can, so I'm considering trying to tune it down.

    AT-X accuracy ?

    Should be close. 41.5 might be a tad hotter than the factory load. 41 - 42 grains of h4350 with a 140 eld has shot well across a half dozen 6.5s for me. I did zero seating depth testing on my AT-X, just tested a couple powder charges.

    There are three or four of us in this thread shooting 140 elds with approximately 41.5 grains of h4350. Might be worth trying that combo since it seems to work so consistently.

    Same recipe as my hand loads. Where'd you end up for velocity? Planning to run some of my rounds through @Bullet_magnet gen 3 AT-X to see if they shoot the same.

    Gen 1 AT-X (21 serial number), barrel is marked W5380. Total extent of my load development was seeing if it liked 140 elds at 41 grains or 41.5 of powder. If there's an issue it started after this one.

    Stopped off at 100 yards to check zero and chronograph a few rounds. Looks like the barrel sped up as it broke in - currently sitting at 2802 fps with an SD of 4. Pretty damn pleased with the AT-X.
