    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: 6.5 Creedmoor The Creedmoor was designed to work at 308 pressures,so it will have a pretty long barrel life to it. My 308 had 700 rounds in it before i switched it to the Creedmoor. With that said I have 6 reloads on my brass so far and have no issues with the Hornady brass.

Anyone load for the .454 Casull?

Re: Anyone load for the .454 Casull? I have 2 Freedom Arms 454's and love them. My most used load is 22gr of 2400 with a 280gr bullet from RCBS mold 45-270 SAA. It's not a wrist breaker but it puts a whitetail down fast. Its more of a heavy 45 colt load. With this load I can keep groups in...

    6.5 creedmoor and 140 amax

Re: 6.5 creedmoor and 140 amax I've had better luck with the Nosler 140 custom comp bullets over the A-Maxes. I've been getting one hole groupes out of my Creedmoor with H-4831, Varget, and IMR-4064. I just couldn't get the A-Max to shoot as consistant.

If you had to lug around one rifle for distances..

Re: If you had to lug around one rifle for distances.. I'd have to grab my C.Sharps 45-120 with 600gr paper patched bullet. Taken rabbits to elk with rifle, and wouldn't hesitate to take a shot on anything that walks this planet. Also makes one hell of a long range target rifle too.

    rcbs or lee ?

Re: rcbs or lee ? I've used and own both. If your low on cash go with Lee. You didn't mention what cal you plan to relod. Most people look down on Lee, but I have never had 1 problem with them in over 30 years of reloading. If you plan on shooting in competition there are specialty dies you...

Re: new rifle build what caliber .260 or 6.5 creedmor I also went through this same problem last summer. I went with the Creedmoor. Both will do exactly the same and what ever you want a 6.5 to do. The 260 has the advantage of being out for quite a while. The Creedmoor was purpose built for...

    .338 vs .50

Re: .338 vs .50 I have and shoot both ctg. Once you go to the 50bmg you really narrow down your resale if wanted. The 50 is narrowed down to a special field of shooters. You also have to concider the price of a 50. I have a Barrett M99, for that price range you can set up a 338L soup to nuts...

    Manners T5 vs AICS

Re: Manners T5 vs AICS Thanks for the help, I do have big hands and think the AICS is a little small for them. I think this was the basis for my question, and should have posted it that way. I do like how my T4 feels and wouldnt hesitate to buy another stock from Manners.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell 3200 versus SWFA SS 10x42

Re: Bushnell 3200 versus SWFA SS 10x42 I have both scopes and the SS is tops compared to the Bushnel. The best thing about the Bushnel was the turrets. For the price range the SS is hands down the winner. Clear optics and the mil-dots compare to my Leupolds. Scope tracks right and the adj...

    Quick X-Mark trigger question

Re: Quick X-Mark trigger question As soon as I fired my 700P in 223 I knew I'd be replacing that trigger. I just couldn't get the x mark to adjust light enough for me. I normaly use Jewell triggers but got a deal on a Timney and haven't looked back.
