    NorCal only had 85 shooters if I remember right for the 2012 Surfire Innvitational does that mean it wasn't a National match because it didn't hit 100?

    That isn't quiet true... but it did give a new shooter a chance. It did give me a chance, I was first place after day one. Being new to shooting and one of my first out of town matches it helped level things out. I did have the wheels come off day 2 but there were some things out of my control...

    Surefire MB762SSAL/RE - Does it add velocity?

    doubtful, since the size of its bore is greater than the barrel bore... lose all of your pressure once the bullet passes the crown. It does not extend your barrel. That is just me trying to use some logic. I have done no before and after testing.

    Since it is a precision rifle setup how about incorporating 20moa cant. That way standards rings could be used instead of tall unimounts...! gives more flexibility in scope mounting... As far as rest of the design ... Very solid and good looking... I don't know what a industry std mount is...

    Yeah, my fired brass is 1.632 to the shoulder ... I don't reload semi brass from .308s ... Neck has marks on it from feed ramps and a dent in the case from brass deflector...

    Obviously I need to make up some more 44gn w/ Lapua Brass to see if it will hold that kind of group for more than 5 rounds. Thankfully it grouped today, I was going to spear chuck it down the range.

    Sat was a disappointing day to say the least... shot a lot of FMJ break in rounds, then moved on to 168 and 175gn FGMM FGMM (was 1.x- 2.x moa) ... Very poor groups IMO ... Even my hand loads were poor results using NATO RA 60/61 Head Stamp cases, 42,42.5,43 gn varget were suck, 43.5 and 44...
