    i've got them from MK Machining, Anarchy Outdoors, Blamm and JKL Precision. I can't tell a difference functionally. They all work with no problems for me

    this is a great point and i think one that might be starting to get lost on people as the gear improves and the money being dropped on 22 matches increases. shooting out past 250 to 300 on rickety circus props at a 2 MOA target is either a dick move or not thinking it through properly

    I found a bag of once fired, mixed headstamp, non processed .308 brass in box of misc crap in my gun room. At one point I thought I was going to get into reloading and started saving my brass. Had a kid, life got in the way etc and never got around to it. So this brass is free to a good home...

    They aren't currently but if you want to shoot matches, you can shoot them as a non member. Same with the Mid Atlantic Rimfire Series. You don't have to be a member at the range to shoot their during the match.

    Welcome fellow Marylander. If your son is interested in NRL22 style shooting, come check out the Mid Atlantic Rimfire Series or the Lapua PRC at Peacemaker in West Virginia.

    Call Doug and talk to him about your specific needs. He is very knowledgeable. I have that scope and LOVE it. I'm good a spending others money so I would say upgrade if you can afford it. Its a great scope for the price point

    i can't reproduce it consistently but i've had it happen before. i've noticed it with eley ammo and a dirty bolt face. i also have had it happen when running the bolt slowly during practice but knock on wood it hasn't happend in a match when forcefully running the bolt. i also just jinxed myself...

    i'll agree to an extent. at some point your gear does become the limiting factor. at least with the vudoo and rim-x you know YOU are the weak link. now i know full well i'm missing because of me and i would rather miss with my gear than gear that costs double. the last thing to think about...

    thanks for the feedback. i get that it is a form 1 can but the concern was the aluminum in a centerfire rifle. i'm not looking for something PRS quality that i'm drilling out in my garage but i am looking for something that will hold up. i read up above that there is a jig. did it come with the kit?
