    Diagonal stringing

Best hunting bullet is a match grade bullet. They're consistent and accurate and when you know where the bullet will hit, the animal goes down.

    OCW experts. Need OCW diagnosed!!

I would suggest loading a few rounds to zero before beginning the OCW and shooting the OCW on a target with grid lines.

    Observation...Neck Sizing vs FL Sizing.

What ksthomas said^^^^^ I have tried both ways and once believed that neck sizing was the way to go. In my quest for really consistent reloads, I went to full length sizing and annealing. There are other factors but in the end it is a combination of a lot of little things that get hits...

Very confused. Dope changed big time? What caused this?

It might be worth having the throat checked. I shoot a 6.5x47 Lapua and my velocity dropped almost 150fps. I checked loads, primers, powder and found no answers. I redeveloped a load that regained 100fps but at longer ranges the groups looked like a shotgun pattern. When I was picking up a new...

I can't get quick load to match my chrono.

The four things you have listed are what you need. I get really anal sometimes and find a bullet that is the exact length as the bullet length given by QL and seat it. I then measure the Cartridge length and enter that. The more accurate you are with the data input, the more accurate QL will be...

I can't get quick load to match my chrono.

Below barrel travel on mine it has Bullet Travel which I think equates to barrel length minus chamber length. My version is 3.6 so maybe newer versions have twist rate. By all means enter a twist rate if it's there.

I can't get quick load to match my chrono.

Yes, input barrel length but I don't think QL has a twist rate input.

I can't get quick load to match my chrono.

Things to check are case length, case volume, bullet length, OAL. These are all factors in QL. Last but not least is QL is a program that "projects" or estimates velocity and pressure. I would never expect QL to match chrono numbers, while they may be close the chance of matching is slim.

Forming 260 brass from 308... Is neck turning a must?

If I were necking down .308 Win to .260 Rem, I would ream the inside of the necks. Necking down that much will typically develop the dreaded donut inside the neck which will affect neck tension.

    Stainless Steel Tumblers Runout/necktension

I decap without the neck bushing, tumble, dry, anneal, F/L size with neck bushing and floating expander ball, trim, prime, etc.

Monthly Sporting Rifle match RATON NM

I shot the match with 9000' DA dope. The day started at around 8500' and was probable around 9900' during the heat of the day.

    Loads for .260 /.243/ 6.5x47/6.5 Creedmoor

If you're using OCW for load development, you're charge intervals are too big. I would suggest .3 grain intervals. Another suggestion is to shoot everything through a chronograph. Being able to review velocities and see what your velocity ES is can be a big help.

PLEASE DECIPHER THESE RESULTS!! Very frustrating.

+1 for 100 yards on an OCW test.

Standard Deviation of 12 and FPS of 2660 Good Enough?

+1^ ... I'd shoot some groups on paper or steel at 400 to 500 yards minimum and evaluate the groups. I'd be looking to see how much vertical dispersion there is in the group and decide if that is good enough.

    Can one anneal to often?

I would recommend a piece of tape inside your cartridge box to keep tally of firings. I keep my brass separate by box and don't work a box until all rounds have been fired. For the record, I anneal every third firing.
