Poor experience with warranty service at Bullet Central. Any senior from the company on this forum?

Well, you want it warrantied because YOU lost a spring. Now, you're getting butthurt about BC being meanies..... I'm starting to see how the call with them went sour.

There's a bunch of parts and particular way to reassemble. I've had my first back off on adjustments, so now, after I get it set to my liking, I fully disassemble it and put clear nail polish on set screws to hold them(except 1 screw has a nylon rod that adds resistance to loosening).

    Proof "Heavy Competition" contour?

Same here but 6.5creed. It is identical contour to old school AI, not the newer hvy palma/mtu AI profile.

Not dismissing your experience, but they've always been very helpful and nice. I always buy any b n a trigger from them, as they'll install/swap the correct top sear free of charge. Beats ordering it with a med when you know you'll need a low or high, and then buying correct top sear for...

Accuracy international 2.0 legacy stock pricing?

They've been pretty $$$ for several yrs. About the only time I see a 2.0 legacy/ax mk1 or 2 under 1k is if they've been machined, bedded, painted, or modified from original.

    which 6 to choose?

What powder are you using in 6br and how long of a barrel can you stand? I always used h4895 with 105hybrids in my 6br and with 26" barrels, 2890-2915 wasn't leaning too hard on it.

    First Remington 700 build..

Patriot valley arms, @bohem hes on here. Someone's leftover target that I put 5 on to final zero scope. 22creed 75eldm@3440, 22" med palma.

    First Remington 700 build..

There's a guy here in EE that sells them at that price or a bit less. Northland shooter supply sells them at or near that. PVA has a great barreled action deal on solus, that's where I got mine and it is a hammer. The solus is head and shoulders over most 700 builds.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Stubborn RMR screws

There's nothing inherently wrong with the zev method of attachment(posts and 4-40 screws). The posts act as another set of recoil lugs and allow lower milling of optic. The use of blue loctite is the problem. Degrease all threads and use a product like vibra-tite. It will retain torque and...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

So call it 2.25lb WITH dbm, you win, it's still inferior in every conceivable way to a bravo(along with a shit show of a feed and mag issues) except for carry(sling negates that 1ish lb difference anyway).

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

I figured the plastic, rubber, and dbm would be close to 2.5, but I could be wrong.

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

define carry in field, by what metric? The hogue with shitty rem dbm is gonna be 2.5+lbs, the krg is 3.5lb. One has an adj cheek and the other doesn't. 1 has multiple sling points, the other doesn't. One has a bedding block spine, the other has plastic honeycomb forend and plastic bedding...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

I know sometimes precision rifle stuff is death by 1000 cuts, but sometimes spending a bit extra on front end saves money on tail end. If you like the rifle and it shoots good, id buy a krg bravo. It is a solid stock with integral mag system that uses good aics 300wm mags. It would be better...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

I can't stand to have a short screw in an action. Seems most chassis use a standard length off the shelf screw and sometimes(usually) they only engage 2-3 threads in an action, not the 5 threads that are there. I have an assortment of 1.25, 1.5, and 2" long 1/4-28 socket head screws that I...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

This. If pillar height(area that is sandwiched between bottom metal and action) is thinner on new stock, the action screws will protruding into lug recess and lock up or cause drag on bolt operation. I could also see that shorter height cause mag to bottom out on action(possibly drag on bolt...

    Sierra 6mm 107HPBT Matchking caution

I get that, but your initial 6dasher post with alpha brass@3133 is scorching hot in that brass. That was the load that I was warning news about not using as a guideline.

    Sierra 6mm 107HPBT Matchking caution

The older 107smk were an open tip design and had a g1 of .529. About 5 or 6yrs ago they made them closed nose and bc bumped up to .547. That number and the older number, with open tip, were spot on in several rifles.

    Sierra 6mm 107HPBT Matchking caution

I'm not trying to be a dick, and I've got a 140eldm 6.5creed load that's running 2890 in a 26" barrel with lapua brass. Just gotta remember there is some people on here that don't test, they just go to mach Jesus cause they saw someone else get that speed. Not knowing what freebore/action/bore...
