Depending on rate of fire, contour, and barrel steel quality....it's entirely possible. It's burning 58+gr every shot, it ain't a 29.xgr 6br, lol. Op, are you letting next rd to be fired sit in a hot chamber very long(10+ sec)?
That is a upper end load in my barrel, [email protected]. Not max pressure, but close to book max, and I didn't have more than 1-1.5gr until I got heavier bolt lift. Can't speak to ops load, but it isn't super mild.
I've got a 22" 6.5prc on a badger, 140eldm handloads with h1000 are running 2930. Factory 147eldm are 2850, but they are fairly tame compared to handloads.
Keep in mind, every chamber is different and I was using standard lr primers. I think you've got some room to go up, just watch primer condition, bolt lift, and watch for ejector swipe. How many rds on barrel?
I'm currently at 70gr h1000 with 184gr bergers in adg brass and cci200. In my 26" barrel I'm seeing 3035fps and zero pressure, 4x fired brass. With 168gr and 20" barrel, might try a powder that is a hair faster burn rate than h1000, maybe 4831sc?
Their website shows out of stock, but 375.00. I like the 2 I have, when they were 250-275. At 375.00, I'll stick to my bix 2 stage tacsport pro and have a nicer trigger for 30.00 less, lol.
Ive got 2 22creeds, a 8tw from pva and a 7tw from another maker. Both shoot extremely well, but for future use i will stay with a 8 tw on 22creed. The 7tw in a 22creed is a balancing act between fast enough tw for stability and overspinning bullets. I was able to get 90gr bergers to work, but...
Factory trigger? I've saw overtravel set too short and caused sporadic firing pin drag. Fired primers look normal for a factory 700, they all exhibit that crater look. Check fp protrusion as mentioned.
One thing I haven't saw mentioned is rate of fire. Magnum rds make alot of heat, and it's not so much right in front of chamber but over 1/2 way down barrel. Carbon need slower ROF, and magnums in carbon need even slower ROF. A proper bedding job, not skim bedded(fine for a chassis, if you...
Unless you are gonna pack the lead sled hunting, how the rifle can ultimately shoot is based on the rifle and shooter. If a 7lb magnum rifle will shoot 1/2moa in a sled and 2moa without.....that's a 2moa rifle to me(due to shooter). Mechanically it's fine but as a system, it sucks.
Yeah, 260shooter on here is my neighbor to north by 40miles or so. He wanted to do just that or atleast have them side by side again. Right now it's 12° and won't be decent again till Sunday afternoon.
I had them call me on monday. I explained i wasn't able to get xml file sent and suggested a email if they wanted to see data. They declined and told me to do a hard reset and try it again. If it acts up again, contact them and they'd look at it and possibly exchange. I guess I'll see how it...
Yeah, I don't think it's a large issue, and probably 99.0% garmin users are happy-ish. I've been using the garmin for over a year, a couple quirks here and there bit overall pretty happy with it until the other day. I also do know that I had it set right and proper velocity range selected. I...
