Suppressors Finally cleared... Ti Rant 45

After waiting that long, they told me the ones on e-forms are taking 3 months. I might need to buy one more before the new laws go into effect.

Suppressors Finally cleared... Ti Rant 45

Just shy of 11 months. M&P 45 with Ti-rant 45. Let me edit that to say 10 months and change. And yes, Dawson Precision adjustable night sights do clear the can.

Rifle Scopes Swaro z6i 1-6 vs Razor Gen II 1-6

Thanks for the clarification. It is stuff like this that I can't just learn by reading the marketing materials for each scope.

Rifle Scopes Swaro z6i 1-6 vs Razor Gen II 1-6

Still curious about the bad Swaro feature set. I am likely going Razor, but still curious.

Smack the SMILEY (SNOWFLAKE) - WINTER 2013 - RESULTS POSTED!

I bullseyed the 25 point target for RF. Looking back, I have seen that done only one other time for rimfire (scored for the 5 point bonus) on a winning target, back in the Fall of 2007. Amazingly, there are several wipeouts in that time frame. After closer examination, I realized that it is...

Rifle Scopes Tunneling - Here's what it looks like.

My dad's Nikon Buckmaster is 4X. For our area, most rifle scopes are for white tail at short distance (200 yards and under, which most hunters will tell you is 400 yards). The Super Sniper at 3-9X is a perfect magnification range for south Texas deer hunting. If only I did just that. The point...

Rifle Scopes Tunneling - Here's what it looks like.

I have pulled the trigger on something on 5X maybe twice in 5,000 rounds. That is not to say that I don't ever put the scope on 5X. I am shooting at targets that are a range of sizes at a variety of distances from 25 yards out to 1,000 yards. For instance, sitting by a tank and popping turtles...

Rifle Scopes Swaro z6i 1-6 vs Razor Gen II 1-6

I bought my first AR a little while ago and am looking for a day-bright scope that acts like a red dot at low mag and gets me a little more mag for distance. This is primarily for varminting. Comparing the scopes, the Swaro is obviously more expensive. It has slightly more FOV and is a full 9...

Rifle Scopes Tunneling - Here's what it looks like.

Same designer, but obviously different design. For example, I understand the S&B parallax adjusts down to much closer than the Premier. And then there is the whole binding issue with the Premier. Orkan has an interesting point about FOV and lower magnification. The only reason I reduce...

Smack the SMILEY (SNOWFLAKE) - WINTER 2013 - RESULTS POSTED!

I set a personal record on the CF, but probably not good enough for the win. I shot a couple of good RF targets. I would say it was good enough for a win, but after losing with a 283, I am not so sure. I think I will hit a personal best on both CF and RF aggs... but competition has been really...

Recommend me a long range spotting scope on a budget

Depends on what you want to do. If you are trying to find holes in paper at long range, a target cam will serve your needs better for a lot cheaper than a spotter.

Rifle Scopes Best 1-6 or 1-8 FFP scope?

For those who have used the Swaro and Razor Gen 2, which one had the more forgiving eye box? I was just about the pull the trigger on a Swaro (because of weight), but if the Razor has a significantly more forgiving eye box, I will probably just go with it.

    Is this a damaged crown?

I have read multiple reports of a damaged crown NOT affecting accuracy. The solution is to shoot something BEFORE complaining about the accuracy.

Redding Competition Shellholder Sets (for headspace adj. w/o going the bushing die route)

If that is the plan, you are on the right track. That should work out well. I happen to have a Neil Jones Custom die with a micrometer head, but I have looked and can't seem to find a Redding FL die with a micrometer head and the reason seems to be that the bushings are designed differently from...
