    Defiance Ruckus

Not sure what the difference is. Haven't weighed the BDL components. I just 'assumed' that it would lighter. We all know what 'assume' means . . . . .

Primary purpose in running BDL style bottom metal is weight.

My 2020 plans include building another, but lighter, 6.5PRC. The Rebel Sheep Port, GA Hunter, and Hunter are at the top of my list for an action to base this off. May have to rethink that with the intro of the Ruckus. I'm a little skeptical about the loading/ejection port configuration. It...

    Another Rimfire Bolt Gun

Just came across this. Looks like Bighorn (Zermatt) is getting to the 700 footprint rimfire bolt gun game. No pricing list - unfortunately. https://www.rimxaction.com/

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

I've pondered that scope since I saw one at SHOT last year. Just wasn't sure about the dot in the middle, and whether it would impede accuracy. From your results, that doesn't look to be the case.

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

KOD, Which Meopta do you have mounted on the B14R? Optika6 4.5-27 w/4D Dichro by chance?

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

Great write-up. Can't wait to hear/read your comments on the function of the TriggerTech Diamond in the B14R.

FWIW, as it pertains to scopes and the Vudoo V22, this is what I got from Leupold a few weeks ago: Listed below will be the minimum parallax settings on our rifle scopes. Please feel free to email me back with anymore questions. Fixed parallax: 150 yards Fixed Rimfire scope: 60 Yards EFR...

    Bergara has a new rimfire.

Do tell. Don't leave us hangin'. Edit. Read KODs other post/thread on the B14R. He has a TriggerTech Diamond coming, hence his response. Can't wait to hear/read his comments on the function of the TriggerTech in the B14R.

    Bergara has a new rimfire.

Somewhere along the line I recall reading or hearing that when using a TriggerTech in a Bergara, that one should not expect the full amount of pull weight adjustment. I seem to recall that this comment was made with regard to trying to adjust the trigger down to its lowest setting. I also seem...

    Bergara has a new rimfire.

EGW makes a 30MOA for the 700 SA, which would work well on the B14R.

FWIW, I see that MileHighShooting has a Greyboe Renegade stock that is specifically inletted for the V-22 w/sdj cheekpiece and what looks to be an ejection port inlet that follows the lines of the V-22 ejection port. When the time comes, I think I'm going to go with a McMillan A6 PRS...

^^^ Thanks. Just the info I was looking for. The lengthy ejection port is understandable.

I may have missed it somewhere in the 86 pages of this thread, but I have a question regarding stocks for the V-22. We all know that the action will drop into a Rem 700 footprint action. My question has to do with the placement of the side bolt release. Is the side bolt release located 'high...

I've been having the same thoughts. I have a coupe of CF rifles w/Proof barrels and am not disappointed. But since I'd like a ".22 Trainer" I should probably consider an 18" or 20" MTU or Kukri profile to come closer to approximating the weight/balance of my 6mm CM w/26" Med Palma.

    Bergara has a new rimfire.

I'm gonna go with a 30 or 40MOA EGW base. Looking at using a Leupold 6.5-20 EFR scope that only has ~49MOA of elevation adjustment. I'd like to be able shoot 250-300 with the Beragar, just for grins and giggles.

Thanks. That's the info I was looking for. Doubt I'll ever put 500K rnds thru one 22, let alone 500K rnds thru the combined total of all of them that I own.

Here's a question for the Vudoo owners. What's the life expectancy of a Vudoo 22LR barrel. be itan ACE, Bartlein, Proof? I only ask because I've been keeping an eye out for a second-hand Vudoo barreled action and those that I have found all state 7-10K rnds down the tube. I shoot a lot of...
