These 185's by Lapua are slow indeed. MV is 755 m/s (2475 fps) by the manufacturer, @20 deg C and for 26 inch barrel. With some degrees below 0 centigrade I would expect the pills to go transsonic somewhere between 800...900 m. I haven't chronoed these myself so I don't know the exact figure for MV.

Who doesn't like T&A and nice ladies.. but in any case it is not the only joy/desperation in the world. What else is there? For example that below. Got solid consistent hits on 30x60 and 50x100 cm steel out to 800 m, beyond that it was fifty-sixty at 900 (50x100 steel) and no hits at 1000 m...
