I guess I kinda missed this section when i signed up, but maybe it's not too late.
I'm from Duluth, MN. I've always been very into hunting and shooting, but have just gotten into the long range game. So far I love the hide! :) anyone from Minnesota?
a shotgun shell at 50 with a handgun is impressive imo. and don't get me started on grasshoppers. my friends and i go "grasshopper gigging" they make good practice, a lot more fun than clays and cheaper too!
longguntoter you oughta try it, the .22's will surprise ya.
bjay I think it'll get ya there. it looks like a longer barrel than what i'm running. I ran federal bulk ammo.
definitely should be expecting better. fool around with different ammo and make sure you have a good rest. lead sleds are nice imo, otherwise a pod with sandbags under the butt. good luck, hope you get her shooting like it oughta
You seem to have your mind made up about a CZ and I'm sure you've done the research so I won't address that question. As far as the fluted barrel goes almost all barrel manufacturers will recommend against it. the only advantage is weight. disadvantates are barrel stresses, cost, and they heat...
Ruger receiver, KIDD barrel, Boyds stock. still in the works. When I'm done there won't be a ruger part on it and i'll have a stock 10/22 to start all over on :D
