Re: Bolt sticking in battery I had an AR do this to me, was a 308, the extractor had a burr on it from something, I guessed it was sand that got in there as the wind was blowing stupid hard.

    Gotta see this.

Re: Gotta see this. I saw this and all I could hear was... FINISH HER! He should have bowed and said, "Another quarter to continue" When she spit on him then punched him in the face, she went full retard.

Longest shot you've made with an AR-15

Re: Longest shot you've made with an AR-15 800 meters, with an ACOG, testing the BDC, was pretty close, was on an ACR. Not really an AR but pretty damn close. Otherwise I am stuck at 600 yards at the plates I typically shoot, 69gr hpbt realllllllllllly do well.

    LMT .308 MWS

Re: LMT .308 MWS I put the battlecomp and SSA-E in my Sig 716, those 2 things made that rifle just so much more fun to shoot. I'd buy another battlecomp, but I think I am going to change my MWS to a 6.5 Creedmoor. That rifle just really shines for accuracy. My MWS trigger isn't that bad...

Are electric vehicles better than gas vehicles?

Re: Are electric vehicles better than gas vehicles? No. Electricity comes from somewhere, and 99% of the power generated in this country is something an enviro-nazi despises. There is a great show that Top Gear did, talking about how horrible these cars are for the environment. With that...

Maggie’s why is it that shooting prone attracts retards?

Re: why is it that shooting prone attracts retards? Shooting prone at the public ranges around here means you are going to get huge red ants on you, so I am out in the desert. I don't mind the talkers, I despise the people that have the same common sense as a coked out stripper. Shooting...

    recommendation needed

Re: recommendation needed I know you said, "other than" concerning the P90, but a friendly reminder on that weapon, my wife complains about her finger getting tired on that gun after 200 rounds or so. Have you had her try out an AK74? This is bar none my wife's favorite, even her light...

Maggie’s Scams - How Stupid Can You Be???

Re: Scams - How Stupid Can You Be??? I got scammed once, I actually thought my mother in law was a nice lady, then we got married and I felt like Perseus meeting Medusa. Sadly I have tried pointing a mirror at her direction but she still lives. Got a checker mad at me at Home Depot a few...

    Sig 716 Patrol (pic heavy)

Re: Sig 716 Patrol (pic heavy) I just crossed 1,000 round mark with the rifle, figured I would post some update pictures of it, I put in the Geissele and accuracy was much easier to attain. With a 4x scope I was hitting the 600 yard plate with much more ease than before, hits were not...

    Need help with the sun

Re: Need help with the sun Ha! There is that. I was hoping someone knew of a shirt that was good for blocking the sun and not being overly hot.

    Need help with the sun

OK, I need help, the sun kicks my ass and burns me, which makes my wife trip out, I've tried sun screen, it doesn't really work, I just get oily and burn slightly less. I tried wearing long sleeve shirts but they get me stupid crazy hot, or if I wear a thin one I still get burned. Have you all...

    Rifle Scopes Who is Vortex

Re: Who is Vortex Vortex PST 1-4x that I have is stupid good, I use it on so many different weapons to shoot with. Zero stop, mil ret, illuminated, tough (I have dropped this one a few times), appears to track well (although I find myself using the reticle more than turning turrets). I bet...

Rifle Scopes Glue an optic into the mount?

Re: Glue an optic into the mount? I bet it is to meet drop test needs, makes sense to me for the vibration as Spuhr points out. I am guessing the ability to remove that .001% (yes super tiny) chance it gets knocked out is good enough, or it could be magic feather moment.

Sidearms & Scatterguns My Mother-in-law found this in a closet....

Re: My Mother-in-law found this in a closet.... Yes never let that go. Family history is huge, I shot a lever action rifle that was my wife's great great grandfather's, it is so cool to shoot a firearm that old. Down side, my wife's hippie sister got it when my father in law passed, I...
