Tactical Shooters Equipment - What the pros use... An 18" barreled rifle has its place. But as Rob said, a match gun isn't one of them. I'm doing a switch barrel with a short 308 practice barrel to handicap my trajectory, and a long (prob 26") 260 barrel for comps.- reximus

6.5 creedmoor vs 260 rem vs 6.5/06 what to do!
Any load you have been shooting will tend to get hot when you're shooting in Phoenix, Arizona in August there Sibley!! Congrats on the retirement!! Rifle: AI AX 260 Tube: 26" Bartlein 1:8 Powder: 42.0 gr. H4350 Primer: CCI #200 Brass: New Lapua Projo: 139 Scenar OAL: Varied. I started right on the lands and backed it off to 2.8" in 0.005" increments. I did this half for data purposes and half for practice and trigger time with the new gun...- reximus

The Vortex is a great scope. I just ordered another one. Don't even get me started on the events that lead up to that decision... Who knows, maybe in 10 years Vortex will upgrade to some good German glass. Then we can all run over our current Razors and send them in to get the new ones...- reximus
