    Best glass for a crossbow

The Zeiss XB75 has the best glass I’ve seen on a dedicated crossbow scope, by a long shot. But they missed the mark a bit…it could really use an illuminated reticle. They’ve been discontinued for a while, but you should be able to find one online fairly easily.

Rifle Scopes Is S&B really outdated trash?!?!

I can’t say I’ve ever licked a scope by any brand, is running your tongue over phallic shape objects another Arken thing?

Rifle Scopes Is S&B really outdated trash?!?!

It’s true, on our last company tool review, we decided to replace the Klein dead blow hammers with Arken scopes going forward. Not only are they superior built scopes, they aRe jUSt aS gUUD as hammers.

Rifle Scopes Is S&B really outdated trash?!?!

I guess I went into it expecting less, and was pleasantly surprised (with the nx8). I use it for coyotes and a little long range plinking on an AR, the magnification range is suited perfectly for quick up close shot, along with steel & paper at 700 yards so far. The fact that it shares the...

Rifle Scopes Is S&B really outdated trash?!?!

Funny, I consider my 2.5-20 the most impressive inexpensive scope that I own. At $1600, there’s nothing I’d rather have in its place.

Rifle Scopes March 1-10 Shorty Dual Focal - Reviews?

Can anybody who has time behind the March 1-10 compare it to a NF ATACR 1-8? I’m looking for optics for a “do it all” 14.5” AR. Glass quality, brightness, reliability and size/weight are all important. I’m familiar with NF quality and robustness, never dealt with a March scope before.

    Black Friday Sales 2021

I’m not sure on current pricing, but I’d put Accutac somewhere close to atlas, but well above both Harris and Magpul. Edit…looks like they’ve went up quite a bit since I bought mine, I thought they were around $175…but that’s not the case any longer.

What lower parts to use in a new build

I was in the same boat, had to wait quite a while for the v3’s to be released to finish 2 builds.

What lower parts to use in a new build

Not to repeat myself, but FCD’s aesthetics are worth the price alone. And it’s not cheap Chinese made stuff…top quality, functionality, and an owner who’s always innovating and improving components. That Seekins safety has been replaced with a FCD safety now also.

What lower parts to use in a new build

Forward Controls Design, Geissele trigger. FCD’s products have useful innovation, and are top notch quality.

    New Sig CROSS

After around a years wait, finally got mine...it’ll be my primary whitetail rifle. Used my Cabelas points for the rifle itself, so that cost me almost nothing out of pocket. 18” Sig Cross in 6.5 Creedmoor SLR carbon fiber rail panels Smoke Composites carbon fiber grip Atlas BT46-LW17 bipod...

    New Sig CROSS

Just placed my order for mine, we’ll see if Cabelas 5-7 days is realistic. So how does the handguard on these attach? Is it proprietary or AR style that clamps on the barrel nut?

Rosin for Spuhr / other rings?

I prefer overkill too, which is why I spend $450 on a Spuhr mount vs $89 on a set of rings that’ll likely hold up just fine. Cleaning & loctiting the hardware is something that I’ve decided to do on my own after having loose screws take me out of a competition like mentioned. Using the loctite...

Rosin for Spuhr / other rings?

After having a scope in a different type of mount come loose during a bench rest competition (which was torqued to spec), I made it a habit to clean all of my mounting hardware prior to use with acetone, then apply a dab of blue loctite to guarantee that won’t happen again. Again, per Spuhr’s...
