    Range Report 0.2gr= difference between 1.5 MOA and 0.25 MOA???

    Re: 0.2gr= difference between 1.5 MOA and 0.25 MOA??? I would shoot it all again with at least 5 shots per group. I like doing each test twice with 5 shot groups. After testing today I plan to go back out and redo it at 300 yards. Either way you have a shooter.

    giraud trimmer

    Re: giraud trimmer I bought mine up front so I have never used anything else. I timed myself on my last batch of trimming 200 peices and it took about just over 30 min. This was with measuring every 8-15 and turning each case 3x in the trimmer. I'm very happy with it.

    Re: Cost comparison? I'm new to reloading but I spend way to much on supplies and equipment. Probably just over 3k. I do have some nice equipment and 700 lapua brass plus 20 lbs powder. With the time it takes to correctly and properly load if your time is worth $5 a hr I don't see you...

    Re: A Shooter's Ode To Varget Great great. I'm fairly new to reloading and have only used varget so far. I hav 3 5lb jugs. Is it worth mixing 2 jugs together when I get half way through one, start mixing in some of th new jug? Kind of like a new kind of dog food.

    Re: Buy brass or loaded ammo? I have around 2500 of once fired .308 brass. I'm new to hand loading but I have worked with a few hundred of black hills and federal as well as 2 firings on lupua brass. I'm working with lapua mainly from now on. It's just so much nicer and way more consistent.

    Re: Nosler Custom Comp .308 190gr It will drop a dog especially with a decently placed shot. Big difference between a dog and large game. It's also not the weight of the bullet as much as the design of the bullet and it's intended use. Btw how far are you from Memphis?
