    If you´re able to mark the target as well as the shooting position, then there´s no problem with using that. Another way is using a google maps distance measuring app, you won´t be off by more then a few meters which shouldn´t matter that much at big distance. Don´t think there´s a substitute...

    Check for the positioning of the round before doing the bending. If the mag is loaded with only one as compared to full, does the top round sit there differently?

    Found Bryan´s earlier article here http://www.accurateshooter.com/gear-reviews/shooter-ballistics-app-for-adroid-os/ that would suggest that the Shooter can, using G7 drag model, track the bullet correctly over the entire velocity range. Abybody can confirm that from own experience?

    If you want to keep the caliber and give a brake a try, I´ll recommend British RPA. Most effective brake I´ve ever seen.     You can get a kydex sheet off ebay cheap and mold it to whatever cheek shape you like with a heat gun. Doesn´t ANY of the million of available buttpads fit? That ffwould be realy odd, just lok around for a while :)

    opinions on CG X-Treme trigger

    Have the same design as the RPA OEM trigger. Can´t really shoot well with anything else now, and won´t be changing it for anything anytime soon. It´s a PITA to set up first (get the combination of first/second pull sear engagement and spring preload just right), but then it´s just velvet smooth.
