    One thing I found interesting was actually SAKO recommending in some of their manuals that shooters "clock" the TRG muzzle brake that the sideways hop is eliminated. It looks weird tilted to the side, but I´ve seen it work. Still only a help until a proper technique is learned, though.

    Shorter barrels also restrain you (partially) to heavier bullets - light ones (155) really need that length in order to build up to the speed they like.

    If your barrel´s already threaded, just find a brake with a corresponding thread/caliber opening. Done. For unthreaded barrels, Pete Roedale has a clamping solution.
