    Even indoors you can measure fov since it’s simply an angular measurement. Measure the mils presented in the reticle with both optics at same magnification. Standard seems to be 20 mil at 20x.

    The dlr advertises huge fov, but it’s actually just what I’d call standard fov in todays optics. One thing I don’t like about my dlr is the eyepiece focus is very loose. With a tenebraex cap, opening and closing the cap really wiggles the fast focus eyepiece.
