Rifle Scopes Burris XTR2 - is it me or is it the glass?

Okay so here's some background - I used to have a Viper PST Gen2 SFP and I honestly really liked that optic. It was pretty clear and never gave me any issues. But I learned the error of my own ignorance and moved to a FFP scope - the XTR2 5-25. When I first looked through the Burris, I felt...

    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

I'm also left eye dominant, but I feel that shooting left handed is un-American. So I force my Communist eyeballs to just get over it lol. That's really impressive that you can shoot lefty though. My left hand is practically useless to me, it never really knows what's going on haha.

    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

A major design flaw that you may or may not have noticed is that the bolt handle and ejection port are on the wrong side. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

    Area 419 Arca rail

Well, I don't think anyone makes a 13" haha. So give the 14" a try. If it flexes too much, you can sell just the rail on here without losing too much money and switch to a 12".

    Area 419 Arca rail

I have an HMR but I don't have the HMR stock on it, so I'm not sure if 14" would be too long. My KRG Bravo has a 12" ARCA rail on it and it overhangs the front of the forend by 2". That's about the most I'd be comfortable with, as anything longer might give you a bit too much flex if your...

Bergara Rifles Pictures Thread *include specifics*

So I’ve made a few changes to my HMR over the past few weeks. Converted over to ARCA and ditched the Harris SBRM for an Atlas CAL. I also tried out the Hornady 147gr ELD-M and my rifle definitely didn’t like it. So I tried out the 120gr ELD-M and got a pretty decent 5 round group. I may do some...

Area 419 Arcalock clamp, and MDT ACC dovetail

I know this is an old thread, but I figured I'd add to it since it helped me. I purchased a 12" ARCA rail from Nelson's Precision Manufacturing. I then purchased an Atlas CAL with Area 419 ARCA clamp from a user here. When I got the bipod in the mail, I mounted it up and it very easily slid on...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

Ah I’m glad you asked! So today I made sure to actually pay attention while using my bag on my tank trap. It definitely helps keep the bag away from the magazine. I’ve had to let off on the pressure before so I could feed the next round because my bag was pushing into the mag. With the barricade...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

Finally got to shoot with all the new goodies attached. I'm loving the CAL and the HH Talons.

    KRG Bravo Chassis

Got the CAL today. I’m having some issues with the Area419 clamp and the Nelsons rail. I’m working with the two of them to figure out which part is out of spec.

    KRG Bravo Chassis

Not enough time with it to really tell honestly. My intention was for it to help keep my bag from pushing into my magazine (which can sometimes cause binding when chambering a new round), but I haven't really tested it out properly to know if it actually makes a difference yet.

    KRG Bravo Chassis

So it's a bit of an old family secret. Your big toes are where the majority of your balance comes from. At some point, great grandpa Dan figured out that if you put pressure on the big toe that's opposite of your trigger finger (left foot big toe for a right handed shooter) it would help steady...

    KRG Bravo Chassis

My 12” Nelson rail showed up on Friday. Now I’m waiting on my Atlas CAL with Area419 clamp to show up. It definitely adds more surface to ride on top of the bag too.

Rings/Mounts are like insurance. You normally don't see any real tangible increase in performance from using high-end expensive ones (unless your current rings have something wrong with them) but in the event that your rifle is dropped, or jarred you'll see the immediate downsides of cheap rings...
