    Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P. .22 pistol

I use one as a trainer for myself, and for the students i teach at our county range. It has done very well for me, though it gets very dirty in short order. Performance has been stellar, with the exception of winchester .22lr of any variety... everything else has been basically 100%...

My story of fitness, which I hope can be an inspiration to someone...

Good for you guys, keep it up! This time last year I was just shy of 240lbs and hard up to fit in size 36 jeans (and generously cut ones at that). I went through a lot of rough personal shit this year, and started re-purposing my life around June of this year. Part of that included a renewed...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 Shopping

I have quite a few Sig 1911's and have been pleased with every single one. That said, different models suit different roles. The C3 is an excellent choice for carry, it has the aluminum frame which makes weight a non-issue for whole days packing it around. I don't know how much 1911 experience...

trouble accessing firearms for sale section

Frank/staff, I'm having trouble accessing the Firearms FS section, clicking the link in the main menu takes me right back to the main menu again. I can access the other sections of the PX area and the rest of the board fine. Using firefox as browser. Any ideas why this is occurring? Thanks.

Re: The Start of My Bug Out Kit I half-heartedly hope that the OP was made in jest... if not, there is much work to be done. I say half-hearted because even if meant as a joke it could be used by some misguided reader as an actual preparedness guide... likely resulting in their early demise...

Re: Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 EBR-2B MRAD just FYI, butler has a new all rubber cap coming out, that should stop the frequent breakage. Some photos were on the hide a while back, might use the google tool to search that thread up.

Rifle Scopes Warne RAMP & Burris PEPR Mounts: pics and specs

Re: Warne RAMP & Burris PEPR Mounts: pics and specs ADM's new scout series mounts address that issue via locking levers which are similar, but IMHO a bit better than the Buris. They retail right at $150 from SWFA, and remember they'll price match 110% if you find a better price elsewhere...

Rifle Scopes Warne RAMP & Burris PEPR Mounts: pics and specs

Re: Warne RAMP vs. Burris PEPR Mount: updated/ you would be better served to not compare a QD mount to a non-QD, but the two peprs are not that much different so I guess it's whatever. FWIW- I've used both. The PEPR is my choice if not running an auxiliary sight (MRDS, micro t1, etc). The...

    James River Armory 03A4?

Re: James River Armory 03A4? I know i'm late to the party here, but I just found this and enjoyed the pics of these vintage clones. I built an a4 clone from scratch a few years ago, and it was a lot of fun. One thing i'd like to add: vintage redfield rings are common on ebay, both the...

    Eberlestock Gunslinger II

Re: Eberlestock Gunslinger II X-3 has the same scabbard, works really well for my aac-sd (20") and a normal sized scope. My 24" varmint .223 gun does stick out quite a bit more, so i'd be inclined to agree about the COG shift with a long rifle.

    Eberlestock Gunslinger II

Re: Eberlestock Gunslinger II The phantom is larger and scabbard detaches, which is nice. I had (and loved) a phantom for quite a while, and though I sometimes miss it I do not regret selling it because it has forced me to weed out little used gear and carry less crap. It was almost 8lbs...

    Decent ($150-250) scope for a CZ 22LR 452?

Re: Decent ($150-250) scope for a CZ 22LR 452? Nikon has a nice dedicated .22 tactical scope now (P-22), it' sub $200 if you look around. Or you could go for the weaver 3-10 tactical sold only by MidwayUSA, it's frequently on sale for $299. I have one, which is now on my .223 bolt gun but...

    Maggie’s Bet You'll Cry

Re: Bet You'll Cry While I appreciate their goodwill toward the suffering animal, I have to wonder if this is another case of some dudley-do-right causing more harm than good. The vet's office would have been a fine venue for a humane end, the people could still have sat with the dog and...
