212’s showed up today. Just touching coal is 4.055”. Sure like this extra capacity these allow. Bt junction is just above neck shoulder doughnut area. Like this chamber was made for these Seneca’s

Doing a little comparing. The Berger 210gr vld would have to be going 3800fps to match this 198gr load in windage at 1 mile with my current conditions

I like mid range loads for fire forming. For my 300wm I used 185’s and ram shot hunter just so I could just meter them out real fast. Don’t use the powder for anything else lol

    First time at 2000 yards

I shot a bear there once. 620 yard shot. Watched him rag doll down the mountain. This was about noon. 3pm the next day we got out of there. Never did find him 😢. Searched so long we had to spend the night down there

That spot is public land and often full of granola’s hiking the trails but that area in the pic is a veritable Boulder field 99% of hikers would die trying to cross 😂 Saw one guy down in there once (hunter) and I watched him climb up and out. Took him 3.5 hours 😂. Doesn’t look bad from above...

    Mag length blues.

With all these mag length limitations why is no one making extended actions and mags? Why no 3.25” coal short action mag setups or 4.25” long action. Even a 4” long action setup (action and magazine) Id dimensions not od So many cartridges are crippled with mag length issues Maybe I’ve missed...

Pressure test is done. Looks like my velocity node will be 3130ish or 3180. Cold this morning so I may go with the 3130 node to be safe. Coal is 3.957 right now

    Seating Issue

Yup seat a little and spin case seat a bit more spin case will work 90% of the time In my testing I could not see any difference on target till run out was over .007” measured on bullet At .010” groups opened only a tiny bit at 400 yards. With .004” I wouldn’t worry about it

Past 2k. Think I’ll have enough dial for around 2500 if I can get 3050. If not I’ll shim my rail again
