Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I torqued the rings at 25 inch pounds and I can see the rail moving sideways maybe .02 to .03. I currently have a g2 viper in a set of 30mm vortex pmr rings and they clamp fine. Rifle shoots .3 to .4 moa with that setup all day. I also have a set of Warne mountain tech ultralight ring I tried...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Maybe. The rings I’m using work fine on 6 other rifles with rails from car manufacturers with no problem. Seems like cheap rings fit the fn rail ok but expensive quality rings do not. Lol

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Anyone on here try out the ops2 titanium skeletonized rail? I’ve had a problem with rings clamping on my factory fn rail so I tried the ops2 rail and it’s doing the same thing. The rings I’m using are vortex branded seekins precision 34mm. I’ve tried 2 different sets on 2 different optics that...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I talked to someone at badger today and they said they will have a batch of rails ready to go in 3-4 weeks. Out for parkerizing right now. Also said the Winchester 70 bases will not work on the spr because of base height difference between the spr and the model 70s.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

The manual in the box says a standard model 70 base will not fit the spr. Not sure why. I may compare my spr to my featherweight when I get home and see why.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Been looking around all night for a badger rail. All out of stock or discontinued. May give badger ordinance a call later and see if they still make them

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I had noticed on their website how the rail was milled out in the center and said badger ordinance. I may just have to try to get my hands on a badger rail and try it.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Took the rail completely off my rifle and there are no marks anywhere. Top bottom or sides. I found on the badger ordinance website a spec sheet for the rail and mine matches all the dimensions on the sheet. While I was at it I tried a set of leupold prw2 34mm medium rings to see if they fit...

This is the best picture I have of the rail on the rifle. Maybe one of you can identify it.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

The rail on mine has the recoil lug on it and I am under the impression that it is a Badger ordinance. It is whatever came from the factory. It doesn’t have any manufacturers marks on it.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

So I am still having problems with my scope rail. I’ve tried 4 different sets of rings and 2 work the other 2 do not. The 2 sets that work are vortex pro series 30mm and vortex/seekins 30mm pmr rings. The rings that will NOT work are warne mountain tech untralight 30mm and vortex/seekins 34mm...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Has anyone had a problem with rings not clamping on the factory rail tight enough? I have my g2 razor in vortex pmr rings and when I torque the screws the rings will still move slightly. I’ve tried several other sets I have and no problem with them. my g2 razor has been on my match rifle for a...

    Unertl 15x value

I have a Winchester model 52 sporter made in Japan I’ve considered putting the scope on. I’d just need to get the barrel drilled and tapped for the front base.
