Best out the box production/factory bolt rifle around nowadays

Another CTR vote, sit it in a Manners, KRG or MDT and it will serve you well.

Help me finding a new butt stock for my AR!

You can but it will be about 1" longer using the CAR.

Help me finding a new butt stock for my AR!

Another LWRC UCIW vote, it comes with it's own buffer tube/buffer though.

Sons of Liberty Armorers Class - AAR

As long as you know the difference, all good.

Sons of Liberty Armorers Class - AAR

Looks like a cool class. In short, build a rifle with quality/matched parts? JP was the only factory built rifle he would recommend?

Realistically Best Option for a 7.62 Gas Gun

Other than the barrel I couldn't tell a difference. I'm seeing SP10s on gb for $2750(which is a hell of a mark up) and base model Gap10 G2's are $3861. An AR10 Bartlein from Craddock is $715, by the time you add a bolt, gas block and tube you are at the GAP price. I ended up finding both the...

Realistically Best Option for a 7.62 Gas Gun

The SP10 is a lot of rifle for the money. I'd go with one of those or a GAP-10 G2 if you can find one at a deal. I'm not sure if GAP does anything special to the Seekins upper but they use a Bartlein barrel. Seekins also makes a 6ARC...

    10.3 inch Geissele URGI Upper

All the DD 10.3" I've had were .070, I'd contact them or the seller just to confirm. Any parts after that will be dependent on what works for you. I run a rifle system in my 18", the short .223 and 6.8 use a LWRC uciw. All of these run great with and w/o a can but all my cans are older...

    10.3 inch Geissele URGI Upper

The Crane gas port size spec for the 10.3" is .070, those are considered to be a good middle ground for 50/50 running with/without a can. If the G is at or smaller than that, I would guess that would work running a can. Figure in the buffer system setup, ammo and can, it would be hard to say...

    Seekins DMR in .223

700yd is doable with some heavies out of a .223, would give you some great training on reading wind. The 6arc would be much better at those distances and would be my choice.

    Seekins DMR in .223

What distance are your targets going to be at? That would be a better question when trying to decide a caliber. Seekins makes the DMR in 6arc also..

Should I buy a thermal fit upper or roll with what I have?

For a rosco bbl, a anderson or psa will be fine. When you want to try a better barrel, get a better upper then.

What is your favorite stripped lower to use?

The original Megas are Tumwater marked. Anything after that is Zev and the anodizing doesn't match the original Mega uppers. The Expos are the closest I've seen so far.

What is your favorite stripped lower to use?

Most of mine are Mega, Tumwater marked. Since I can no longer get those, Expo Arms as the anodizing matches great.

6mm ARC or 6.5 Grendel query..

6.8 works great for hunting, a 12.5" is my main deer rifle and puts them in the dirt. When I was reloading, the 140gr berger worked well for long range. I've shot some lathe turned GS customs that did well also, more expensive and had to be imported at the time. It's just not a good choice for...
