    Re: Precision rifle classes in the Northeast I took Sig's 2 day advanced precision rifle. Unfortunately, it was a waste of my time and money, as the instructor, Scott Kenneson, didn't teach much. It was just two days of range shooting in the guise of a class.

    Re: .223 as a starter rifle? I run a .223 as my only precision rifle because the longest range I have access to is 300 yards. I think .223 is great rifle caliber to have and may be the one that makes the most sense depending on the situation.

    JP AMCS - using recommend torque for action screws

    Those that run JP AMCS - are you using the recommend torque settings (45 in/lb front and 30 in/lb rear) or do you tighten it a little more? What setting gives the best acuracy? Thanks.
