Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Getting ready to rebarrel my SPR A1. Thinking heavy varmint at 22". Staying 308. Reason for rebarrel is its given up the ghost at 8000+ rounds. Pics of one with a Heavy Varmint would be nice.

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning- TMB

Brass is 8% heavier than steel. Not a game changer their. And that's the heaviest brass alloy vs the lightest steel alloy. I would suspect it's brass for other reasons. Easy of machining possibley or the harmonic attributes of brass.

Well I hope the dude who is one here keeps his job. He was the only CS person there who was a) professional and b) honest. They can shit can the other 3 I talked too.

    M24 WEIGHT

Let's see? Barrel weighs 6.3 pounds on the m24, you remingtons is 3-3.5. The HS stock on the m24 is over probably 3 pounds vs 1 for your remington..... You've got to be able to see this stuff right? I mean really, it's pretty obvious.

    New build

If for you and your son, I would strongly consider 6 creed, 24" barrel and any action you like the taste/smell/price on that proof makes a prefit for.

    Accuracy International AT-XC

Apparently cause they are contemplating keeping it. It's honestly the one I want, but I am admittedly a poor and can barely afford to keep up on rebarreling my main rifle. I also can't understand how AI cost what it does. I could do a Terminus, Bighorn or any other prefit capable action and a...

    Tents

I run a older northface 4 season 3 person and it's pretty awesome. A little heavy. I would say 8lbs. But I've camped in 60mph winds and blowing snow and been comfortable. Its a 2 person tent if you want any room inside for gear or you move when sleeping.

Rifle Scopes Is a Viper PST Gen 3 coming???

That's what gen 2 razors should go for.... atleast what they went for a couple years ago. That's how I ended up with a XRS III. They raised the price a few weeks before I was ready to buy.

A Lemon Story (Sabatti Rover Tactical)

Looks like about 80% to me. :) My first long range gun was a 300wm Sendero. It placed in a few bigger f class matches. Shot the factory barrel out and had a Lilja screwed on. That barrel took about 80 rounds to settle down and start shooting. It also loved 190 smk and hated the 200something...

A Lemon Story (Sabatti Rover Tactical)

Actually a suppressor does very little for recoil measure in a lab setting. It makes the pressure wave longer but same peak force. What it does is take away the blast that it interpreted by our tiny brains as recoil. Rifle is still coming back at about 80% of unsuppressed force suppressor...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Pt&g is only option. And I wouldn't buy anything from them. I tried and waited 5 months before just getting the TBM. Just order 2 5 rounders.

Is the aero precision SOLUS worth buying

Solus action is good. Not amazing. But good. I don't trust BA barrels at all. I would do the action and a prefit. The Solus chassis is mint and I'm thinking on getting one for the wife's rifle.

Night Vision Which budget night vision optic?

Looking at $1000 NV. SH recommends $3500-5000 thermals. He's hunting hogs. Not engaging the talis. Either will work fine. Upgrade the illuminator. Snuperhogg makes some good ones.
