    Pretty much everything shipping from IWI right now is already spoken for by end users and maybe a few dealers who will sell them on Gunbroker. I really think that by the end of the year you might get lucky and see one on a gun store shelf for the normal price of $1,850-1,999.

    All new limited production guns have an initial period where people are willing to pay way over MSRP to be the cool kid at the range. Nobody needs to buy a Tavor, so it sure as hell is not gouging.

    Just get a Weaver 20moa base and bed it with jb weld. Weaver has a recoil lug built in just like the higher priced Seekins, etc.

    Getting behind both would be ideal, but nobody I know has a Rock Solid. I know that I prefer the pistol grip when shooting prone, so either stock should be fine. I prefer the looks of the Rock Solid just not sure if looks are worth the extra money.

    Considering both stocks for my Remington 700 Varmint in .243 winchester. This gun will mostly be used for range shooting out to 1,000-1,200 yards, but may get used sparingly for coyote hunting from a stand. Does anybody have experience with both chassis? If so what were your impressions...

    I've used my SS 3-9 out to 900 yards with no problems. Since you can reduce the magnification there isn't really any reason for parallax adjustment in close and it really isn't bad at distance since with the 9x top magnification.

    What kind of hunting? Will she be carrying it around much? The Varmint would be a great choice to start with if there won't be any/much carrying of the gun while out hunting. More looking for a bench gun or packing gun?

    M&P22 if you are used to striker fired guns since the trigger mimics that system, plus if you want a true trainer for your full size M&P. SR22 if you want DA/SA and just a fun gun. I've got Browning Buckmarks but if I were choosing between the SR22 and M&P22 I would choose the M&P22.
