Cant Decide between Stiller and Defiance?

That is just crazy. Price of free healthcare I guess. Now knowing the severity of taxes and import. The Stiller would be my recommendation for you. The Deviants are nice but the quality of the action, raceway, threads is on par with Stiller. Defiance is great because of all the options you can...

Cant Decide between Stiller and Defiance?

I would not have guessed the actions to be that much more expensive to buy in Canada.

    Remington 700 SD-AAC brake question...

The threading is for any brake/suppressor manufacturer. The thread pitch is the industry standard for your caliber. Remington and AAC fall under the same investment group so they naturally partnered up the companies.

Cant Decide between Stiller and Defiance?

I have a Stryker Ridge by Defiance and it has a very smooth bolt manipulation. I would have gone with the Deviant but they don't work in a Cadex Chassis. The Deviants have integrated picatinny rail and recoil lug. I believe both of those is pinned in the Stiller Tac seres.

    My .308 PSR Build Journal

Yep, I figure a hand lapped Krieger barrel is already "debured" so break in is a thought from the old days but I'll indulge for the experience.

    My .308 PSR Build Journal

Ah! Yeah, I'm only giving it about 10 rounds for break in. My guess would be that the "spurs" would be gone in atleast the first shot.

    My .308 PSR Build Journal

Barrel break in is generally the process of firing live ammo through your barrel and cleaning between each shot. The bullet going through the barrel, in essence, removes microscopic spurs from the rifling and removes it from contacting the bullet in the rifling and possibly changed the accuracy...

Does the Beret really mean anything anymore??

The "Elite" units wear a Colored Baret. Green for Green Berets, Maron for Airborne. 90% of the berets are for your "standard" soldiers in the color black. It is somewhat of a mental thing for soldiers to aspire to achieve a "colored" beret. Plus, the beret became a big part of garrison wear for...

    My .308 PSR Build Journal

Today was a great day! Got the rifle back from the gunsmith! I get to spend my next two days off from work breaking in the barrel. Already have everything I need. Possum Hollow Bore Guide, .30 cal bore patches, .30 cal cleaning Jag, Tipton cleaning rod, and plenty of WipeOut cleaning foam. I...

    My .308 PSR Build Journal

My .308 PSR Build Journal Just got to get down to my gunsmiths place and check my rifle before final assembly. The rifle looks great. Gunsmith said it was one of his best chambers he has done. There was Zero runout across the entire chamber. Only bad news was with the Surgeon Bolt knob. The...
