    Bushmaster ACR

So a lot of it is still vaporware? If the price, etc. wasn't enough of a shock when it was released, the lack of hardware for the sales bullets will certainly kill it.

    Slop between upper and lower

Yup, proper handling will cure that issue. My handful of M16s from my military days were as sloppy as they get....maybe a few too many bayonet courses, broke too many falls, or a few too many jumps...but they would still shoot expert when operated correctly.

    Slop between upper and lower

Yeah, you can stick one in a AR pattern 308, no different than 5.56

Palmetto State Armory , anybody shooting one?

I built a couple of M16A4 with their uppers. Hammer forged, etc., great stuff.

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

They seem to be direct competition for the PSTs, but am curious to see how they stack up against the Weaver Tactical 3-15 EMDR, which is my preference for scopes in that price range. I wish Weaver would do an EMDR in their 4-20X power range.

Rifle Scopes IOR Recon 4-28x50 40mm tube

I am not that picky about reticles. I do like half mil marks and more than five mils hold over, and as long as it doesn't give you the feeling of using two 2 X 4s for center cross hairs, I can use it. I am really happy with the MP-8 SH A5.

Rifle Scopes IOR Recon 4-28x50 40mm tube

Been there and done that with the 3.5-18X50, and it does what it is supposed to do with very nice glass and excellent performance overall. That is one of the reasons why I am so interested in the Recon. I think they have hit their stride with these newer models in the last couple of years...

    Rifle Scopes New guy here

I am no expert, but I think there are two camps for scopes and precision shooting. Real bench rest precision shooters that typically use very high power, MOA based scopes (smaller graduations than MIL) with fine reticles for long distance target shooting. The second camp is the tactical...

    Rifle Scopes IOR 3-18x42 ?

I asked Scott at Liberty specifically about that scope and the newer 3.5-18x50...he said there was a marked improvement in the eye box over that model - I got the newer so I can't tell you what the real world difference is, but the 3.5-18x50 is excellent.

Rifle Scopes IOR Recon 4-28x50 40mm tube

I am also really interested in the Recon. It may be one of those purchases that is a ways off for me, but my 3.5-18x50 has me so impressed that I am looking really hard at IOR. There are a number of manufacturers that make 40mm rings, I think IOR has TPS make most of their rings. My 3.5-18...

Anybody Have any Dealings Good or Bad With Botach?

I have ordered a number of items from them in the past with no issues. All items were legit and shipping times, etc. were all good. I have never had to contact customer service, so I can't comment on that. I have read a lot of horror stories about them, they aren't my first choice for items...

Rifle Scopes Budget scope that satisfy!

Weaver Tactical 3-15 EMDR Illuminated. Built by LOW, pretty decent glass, FFP, decent reticle, locking turrets, tool-less zero setting, 100+ MOA of internal travel, side parallax, red and green illumination that isn't too bad, and in a very practical magnification range....holds a zero well...

Rifle Scopes IOR valdada 3.5-18x50 mrad mil/mil

Thanks for the info. It is interesting to get first hand feedback regarding the Recon scope, in that price range there is a lot of competition. I corrected my earlier post, I have the 3.5-18x50...just doing a few too many things at once while at work.

Rifle Scopes IOR valdada 3.5-18x50 mrad mil/mil

What did you think of the Recon? I haven't read much about them, but they certainly have my interest.

Rifle Scopes IOR valdada 3.5-18x50 mrad mil/mil

I have this same scope and have nothing but good to say about it, I absolutely love it. The only negative is the little bit of tunneling from 3.5X to about 4. It is a minor nit-pick as I don't typically worry about the low end as much as the high end.

My LWRC REPR 18"....first shots fired yesterday and I'm EXTREMELY impressed.

Really? Man, everytime I turn around LWRC drops something I like. Too bad guns aren't like cars and they blow out the old models at low pirces and/or other deals.

Rifle Scopes True Return to Zero mounts

Same here, no issues with ADM returning to zero on a number of rifles with a number of scopes.

DPMS 308 24" BB which Geissele Trigger?

Of the handful of Geissele triggers I have used, I do like the SSA-E for most things.
