    60 grain!?

    Re: 60 grain!? I have some from Aguila, as well as their super colibri stuff which is 20g. Both work well in my old Remington model 34 but I have no idea what the twist is. It can chamber short/long/long rifle so I assume it doesn't have too fast of a twist which is why it shoots the stuff...

    Re: Electronic Ear Muffs or Plugs? The main problem I run into is my oakleys getting squeezed on my head and sometimes letting in some noise due to a bad seal over the glasses. Thats why I like plugs but when shooting bigger rifles I will double up.

    Re: New gun, 17 HMR. some input? I cheaped it at the time and got the Centerpoint from Wal-Mart. Its a 4-16x50mm with green/red illumination and it has mil-dots. I have used it all the way out to 400 yards without having to touch the knobs. The 17g ammo tracks pretty well with the mil-dots.
