    Re: the feel of a freshly paint handgun... I hate painting with enamel style paints because they always leave a thickish weird feel. Regular krylon type paint dries just fine. I am having my G19 cerakoted at the moment buy a guy near me, and there is another one in Anderson that can do it...

    Re: Squib Loads in a Ruger I'm thinking that was done on purpose to show the strength of their revolver. There is no way someone would keep shooting their gun after the second squib because they would be able to tell something was not right. But thats just my guess.

    Re: 60 grain!? The slower the twist the better. Light bullets need to be spun fast, and heavy ones slow. A 1:9 or 1:7 would be great for the 60g.

    Re: 60 grain!? They are just as loud as a normal .22 when shot without a suppressor. If I was going to run around shooting out lights in urban areas I would want sub sonic and a suppressor. They still hit pretty hard and are quieter than regular velocity rounds and a suppressor. Just my .02.

    Re: Savage TRR-SR Stock Boyd's makes a stock much like the TRR. So yes, you can get a basic one and upgrade the stock. Compared to the FV-SR its much more expensive and meant to be more than just a woods gun, hence the contours and rails.
