Thanks for the explanation. I'll take your post as somewhat of an endorsement to go forth and use RL17 in my Creed, as I can't find H4350 to save my life, but I did manage to score a couple pounds of RL17.
Pardon my ignorance, but how would you burn out your barrel quicker using the RL17 when you are using the same amount of powder? Does the fact that it's dirtier have anything to do with it? Does RL17 burn hotter than H4350?
