Until the next time they are the only source for what I have to have at the time. The fact is they are big enough and have enough pull to get the products in stock that we all need and use up faster than we can replace it these days. They are not my favorite for many of the reasons...
1400 yards at a 16" steel diamond shaped plate is farthest I have made hits out to with my GAP built .260 Rem. 700, 26" Bartlein barrel and 139gr Scenars. Never tried any farther than that with the 260.

I have had 2- 591 and 2- XL of about that vintage also and one of the XL rifles has a s/n lower than 80. No problems other than on one of the 591 actions I had to replace a bad bolt stop, no big deal. Surgeon sent me a replacement part and had it changed out two days after I called...
I don't think you could go wrong with either one. I liked the feel and what seemed as a slightly more compact size of the Swarovski, but I liked the smaller reticle in the Leica much better. I would recommend to demo them both side by side because I think it will come down to personal preference.
6mm has a lot of flavors and many of them are great. But at this time for me it's 6 CM, works great in a gas gun, brass is available, very affordable and the quality so far seems to be great too!
