    bas402 Have you got any info on the 139gr Scenars? Not George, but I started using 139 Scenars and really like them. My rifle was chambered by GAP with the old reamer, the COAL that I am using is 2.930 with the 139's and they shoot great! So I would think for you guys using the new reamer...

    I have been using RL17 for over 4 years and it is much less temperature stable powder than most of the Hodgdon powders in my experience. RL17 will push bullets faster than most powers in cases like the 260 and 7wsm with less to no pressure signs but you still will be needing a barrel sooner...

    I don't have an Extreme Hunter Rifle, but I do have 6.5 SAUM in a Surgeon action by GAP and I will say that I would not hesitate to use the 6.5 saum on all but maybe 2 of the North American big game species. Stay tuned for hopefully some more explicit photographs.
